I live 1 mile from the show and was there.. I got to meet him backstage at the Independent in San Francisco. What a blessed honor. I will always love Daddy URoy. May you sing with the Angels. He had a wicked ability to bounce over the notes. What a sense of Riddim. He was a good guy. I gave him our love on behalf of you all!
I had the honor of bringing The Originator to the stage that day, and only now am seeing this set----blessings on the memory of Jamaica's greatest DJ!
That was a great day at a great festival.

Love this man. He can move now a great dancer and singer. He is very lively . I would not get bored going to one of his performances. So sad that he's gone😢. I love everything about Daddy U Roy his style of dressing. 😢😢 I love to hear him sing . He has an amazing voice. ❤❤❤❤

Daddy Uroy was the originator .Rap music is absolutely an offshoot of Uroy style of music back in the early seventies . I have always been a fan.
