We propose an approximate formula for the degeneracy of large dyonic 1/2 BPS black hole in the N=2 Sen-Vafa STU model and uncover a rich mathematical structure involving modular forms that underlie black hole microstate counting. Based on work with Gabriel Cardoso and Davide Polini.
