You've got to hand it to the Lagina Brothers for finding a way to fund the continued search on Oak Island. Personally, I believe any treasure is long gone, but, the historical mystery of who and why remains.
How much money did Samuel Ball pay for all the land on the island? If he found any treasure he would have to use it to buy for anything. I think someone would notice old gold coins or gold and silver jewelry. Also where did all the miners camp? There should be some kind of campgrounds on the island. There should be livestock areas also. After all miners need to eat food and drink water,. Also where did they get all their FRESH water?

I was thinking about Samuel ball if he was there and there was Portuguese or different cultures that came through that area they may know something that others may not. Through rumors, or working ,trading with them or whatever, what may have you.
