I noticed the newly released GF30mm T+S in the early part of your video and wondered why you didn't use it for the architectural shots as it is the bomb. I also have this and the 110mm T+S which Fuji say is a 'macro' lens but it is not. Bit both are very good fro stitch panoramas and interesting use of focal planes. I also wondered why if you have the GF32-64- (which suffers from droop when inverted, otherwise a decent lens), why you chose the GF55mm F1.7 which was then shot at F4?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. The idea was to show the difference subject/background separation that is possible using a prime lens at 1.7 versus a zoom lens at its maximum aperture of 4. That's why I shot the same shot at both apertures. I love working with shallow depth of field, and the 55 mm allows a more filmic background separation than the 32-64 allows for. The T/S is indeed excellent. The reason I didn't use it for all the other shots was threefold: I also wanted to use some of the other lenses with the new camera, but more importantly, I did not have an ND filter system yet for it and sometimes it wasnt' wide enough for what I wanted to do.
Thank you for your most valued opinion, which I'm sure will also impress your two followers. Now if you could only get your spelling right, maybe I would actually understand what you are trying to say. Is it 'chichi shots', 'cliché shots' or 'chic shots'? Make up your mind.
