Love your review so glad a woman did this review (nothing against men) but I am a single woman and sometimes my brothers can't cut my grass because of work or obligations. This lawnmower seems good for me - have been researching and I am glad I came across your video.

FYI: That little green flap on the top of the mulch box is actually a Box Filled indicator, a unique feature only on the better mowers. While the box is mostly empty and there is air circulating inside, the little flap either stands open or flaps. When it closes or stops flapping, that is the sign that there is no more air or space inside, meaning the box is now full and should be emptied to avoid over filling. Keep up the good work!

If I’m not mistaken my dad bought this same one in October 2019. I am 15 and today I ended up cutting the grass and this lawnmower worked amazing.

F.y.i.: pro tip, if u tie the extension cord in a knot around the handle bar it wont slip off & disconnect.

Lol my dad taught me that when I got my first electric mower, LMFAO.. I only used gas..I was cursing because it kept coming unplugged, he walks over , fixed the problem quickly ..gotta love dads lol. I love this lady's review

I just bought a cordless eco friendly one and it cuts very well! The only thing I had to do it adjust the wheel setting because this mower will scalp or cut your grass too low! Your demonstration was done great!
Yes it will scalp your lawn😂😂 I have mine low enough to we’re my lawn looks like a golf course 🤗

@@breandnita5747 I used mine for the second time today after it rained. Thought the grass was dry but was a little wet at the bottom. I thought our lawn was scalped but during the day it turned out nice! Have been overseeding the front lawn for the past two weeks!😊
Rain on freshly mowed grass is beautiful. Don’t forget to sweep the wet grass from under the mower.
I love mine. It's so cute and cuts great. Very quiet
I have one and I enjoy using it. It's lightweight and very similar to using a vacuum cleaner which also has a cord. Don't let the pretty color/ small size fool you! This machine is lightweight but it's tough!! I was Impressed it can handle tall grass and rugged terrain much better than my much more expensive battery operated mower I had previously. This one even cut bushes! Well worth it!

I just ordered a SunJoe and I'm pretty excited! But I had to get a cordless model because I could not handle that cord situation. I already know this from the other electric tools I have. I have an electric weed eater that drives me crazy because my yard is too wide and I have to put a couple of extensions together. Also maybe use a lapel mic in the future because I couldn't hear you in this video very well. Otherwise yay!

I have the cordless version that cost just over 200... Well worth it
I've heard that the cheap orange plug-in cord will kill the motor and shorten the life of the mower. With this mower the manufacturer recommends a more sturdy yellow cord to plug in. I paid $50 for a sturdier cord from Walmart to upgrade from the cheap orange cord I had before. If you continue using the orange cord eventually it kills the motor of the mower. You will need to check the manual for the recommend voltage cord to protect your investment.
Another problem with using the cheap orange cord is it can ruin your electric circuit for your home. Other than that it's a great mower and it can even mow brushes and tall grass! I've had mine now for 4 years and love it!!!

The manner in which you reverse the mower scares me. I turn around instead of reversing.

@@dinacoviello It is a safety precaution. It is easy to cut a toe ir foot. It is advise to clear a turn instead of reversing.

Nice review,just bought the cordless one.Everything looks good in the yard,the grass,you,and your body😉😏.You are in good shape and do your own yard,where you been all my life
If u stick a pole on the ground and put a swivel loop on the top , you run the electric cord through it , it keeps the electric cord from touching the ground , you just have to duck slightly now and then instead of the cord messing up your groove as you mow. instead of starting closer to the electric outlet , you start closer to the pole and work your way to the edge of the lawn. you can experiment by adding weights at certain parts of the electric cord to give resistance to make the cord more taunt.

Great review but that mower would be perfectly fine if you took good care of it and change the oil in the spark plug and the air filter every year I guess it’s better that you don’t have to change anything on these electric mower is only sharpen the blade

These mowers are great, but i prefer electric ones with out having to use the power cable. Cables are a hassle.

That’s true. My neighbor ran over his cord 😂 but I haven’t ran over mine yet. Just be careful 🤗
...you can avoid that problem, by strapping a 2000 watt inverter generator on top of it, and plug the mower to it, with a short extension cord 🤣🤣🙄

How does the handles collapse?
There is a screw knob on each side that allows the handle to collapse 🤗
I tried that and it only lets me remove the handles. Is it for lower or upper screws?
They have cordless models now.
I need to check it out because this one has been a lifesaver.

Hello again just got my mower can you tell me the extension cord you use because the owner manual lists something called a wire gauge 12 100 ft but the Home Depot rep said I can use a 16/3 100 ft extension cord. Thanks

...the bigger the diameter of the cord, more power will be delivered to the mower, in terms of Amperage 👍 ...plus it won't get hot.
I don’t think I would like to have to pull the cord all over the yard with me
