Wow, impressed with that mower to be able to cut grass/weeds that high. It should handle 3-5" tall grass easily.
Yes, but if it's too long you have to lift it up and slowly lower it for tall weeds because my weed wacker broke so you learn to use this mower for different situations lol
Dude use lawnmower to cut all dem whack of bushes mixed with weed certainly will brake it quickly...i would pull the weed out first...damn!!!!
The blade is strong enough to handle the job. You're right, I need to mow more frequently so it doesn't get as tall.

Much easier on the body and wallet. No more need to remember to fill a gas can with gas and trying to start the gas mower. This is revolutionary similar to switching from dial up to cable modem.
I think I would have unplugged it before I stuck my hand in there to clear out the packed grass. But that's just silly me, wanting to keep all my fingers.
Perhaps but the blades will not start up that fast unless one has super slow reaction.

This one should work fine for your smaller yard. The only problem I've had is the back cover broke off from the screws but it still works fine.

I have this mower. I think its ugly AF, but it works well at a really cheap price. My yard is 1500 sq. ft. and I run it bagless (bag fills up real fast) and just leave the clippings on the ground. It takes a little less than an hour to mow the whole yard. I have had it for a season and a half with no real complaints. I am not gentle with it, so there is no telling how long it will last.
I just used mine yesterday and it works fine and starts up so easily compared to gas mowers where you have to check on the oil and gas levels. Pro Tip: make sure the grass is completely dry before mowing or you will have to tip it over to remove the wet grass because it will stop the blade. Why do you care how a lawn mower looks lol

The only thing is tat posting that price is mesleading the cost is allot more, so maybe this is an older video. I Have 2 older electric SunJoe mowers and now I am switching to battery. Just now assembeling this new one.

Mine stops working immediately. Is there a safety in the blade I need to remove?
Is your grass wet when you mow. Wet grass will force the blade to stop. You have to flip it over and manually remove the grass.
Check that you have the proper voltage cord.
I just got mine. I thought it already came with plug. How do you plug it in ?
You need to buy a long extension cord.

I mainly operated it without the bag attachment because I got tired of stopping once in a while to empty it. As you can see I started with very tall grass.
Cannot get the lower handle into position - holes too tight, and don't want to break anything. Why did you cut that part of the video out? Did you have issues with that as well, and how did you get the lower handle in far enough to align with the screws? If I can't rectify this, I'm returning it. Thank you.
I’m pretty sure so showed everything. You just gently press the handle towards body and hit the circular start button
Sorry - not making it clear. It's the assembly I'm talking about - the LOWER HANDLE won't go into the holes far enough to align the screws to put the thing together in the first place. That part of your video cut out you putting the lower handle into the base before you screwed it into place.
You may have to loosen the screw and make sure they all go into before tightening.
Geez, thanks Jay - I wouldn't have thought of that. If only I could fit the part in far enough to even attempt the screws. Too bad the width of the handle ends don't even line up with the holes in the base.. RETURNING THE POOR QUALITY PRODUCT.

Sorry. I didn't use microphones before but I do now in my videos. At first electric mowers were pricey but I'm sure the price has come down. It's so much lighter and more convenient in terms of not having to deal with gas and oil changes.

I'm still using mine but I noticed when I lifted it by the handle, the 2 rear screws broke off lol. It should still work as it's just a plastic cover.

Follow the instructions on how I assembled it. You prob installed it backwards or something.
I would of mowed the lawn with the gas mower first.You could of broke the plastic peace of junk.Witch is probable fine with short grass and small yards.

I'll keep that in mind the next time I make a video. This is one of the earlier videos where I added music but I now know to decrease the volume and also use a mic. I'm glad you were able to assemble it. I like this mower and it's still doing a good job.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS ONE! THE handle is very FRAGILE! The handle keeps going down and won’t get connected/tied to the bottom handle! After 2 used, I got so frustrated and said a piece of shit!
I've used it probably 10x each time about 1 hour and so far it's fine.
The motor is not running all the time, it is working properly. It is made in China.
Try tighting the handle and make sure you got the bolts on the upper holes on the handle. This lawn mower is great. I used it for the first time today without any problems.
I bought it last summer and now the motor did not run continuously unless you lift the machine up. The handle knob screw are not not designed well at all and therefore it is not connected tightly. I ended up to buy RYOBI MOWER from local Home Depot and it is MUCH BETTER SOLID STURDY DESIGN.
@@StayStrongAndHealthy If your grass is very tall and wet it will jam up the blade because the wet grass can't escape. This isn't the fault of the motor but the wetness and amount of grass. I also had to tilt it and restart it because I am lazy when it comes to mowing and I try to only do it at most 3x a year.
Avoid Sun Joe products my Mower came with a plastic blade...

@@Hazard2005 Are you sure it's plastic because it looks metal to be. All blades have to be stainless steel to prevent rusting and also be strong enough to withstand the thick weeds. Have you tapped on the blade to ensure it's metal and not plastic because it may look plastic to you but it's actually metal.
@@Jay_Rule I'm 100% sure, my blade looks nothing like the one in this video. Mine is all black and looks and feels plastic, very much looks exactly like the plastic turning wheel the "blade" is attached to.

Jay Rule just do yearly maintenance on a gas mower and it’ll take care of you and you’ll get better results
I just sent this mower back to amazon A.S.A.P. Don’t buy this garbage mower. Turns off while cutting grass lower than what he’s showing in the video.
You have to unclog the wet grass that is stopping the blades from spinning. I've used it on taller grass and weed combo than the video so I know it works and it hasn't given me problems.
This lawn mower works great. I just bought it two days ago. My lawn looks good. This lawn mower is easy to move around the yard. I love it.
Electric crap
Mine is still working to this day. Sure, the electric cable can be a hassle but at least I don't have to buy gas and motor oil. It's also very lightweight.
