Thanks for this video! My favorite thing about Taiwan is their ridiculously good fruits. They’re so much better than what you can get in the US. It pains me when I watch influencer travel videos and none of them try the fruits unless it’s mango on shaved ice. Taiwan has so much more to offer! My favorite fruit is Taiwan’s wax apple/java apple. People will cut off the base but I just eat around it as much as I can because it’s the sweetest there
@@followxiaofei That sounds really interesting and good. I tried some dried jackfruit before from Trader Joe’s but didn’t like it. But most fruits taste better in Taiwan, and I’m always willing to give food a second chance
There are some legal and technical challenges that we need to overcome for that. Unfortunately not as simple as just digging a hole and filling it with water.

第一個水果是香瓜，這種水果在市場上買到不好吃的機率挺大，最好是直接找小農買，超級香甜好吃，台灣雖然是水果王國，但踩雷的機率不小，同一水果的等級更是天差地別，要吃當然是吃優良等級的，價錢自然也貴很多，絕對值得一嚐。

my new favorite is jackfruit. recently we cut one open and boiled then fried the seeds. They are so good.

吃小顆的金桔不用剝皮，因為皮是甜的。剝了皮再吃反而太酸。
台灣內行的媽媽香瓜是往內切削皮沒錯
要从「最酸」的水果 “开始吃”，才能慢慢甜到最后。😊

有種東西叫「削皮刀」，不到100元
第一個叫"梅弄"香瓜的一種，皮洗乾淨可以直接吃不用削。小時候吃楊桃都只是洗乾淨直接啃。現在有一個新品種芒果叫龍眼芒果，吃起來就有龍眼味道還很甜。
