I think it is useful to talk of how the mind was created and why it thinks it is separate. It is a super sense that reacts to information from a created memory bank of probabilities called "me,"with a past, a present and a future, which was useful for predicting outcomes in hunting or seasons for farming, and now all the complexities of our life. Somehow this evolutionary device was held onto and even expanded into external minds as computers, like the digging or climbing attributes in other animals. However the mind is only a 'vending machine'. Push a button and you get a certain result. "I" do not think at all - "I"only continually react to thoughts happening. Once "I" stop willing events with the mind (like playing an air guitar) the events still happen because everything is simply happening at the same time,"I" have nothing to do with it. There is no "me" to be born or die - things are just happening and "I" am in it and also all of it. No me, or you, or them - just IS. Bodies are born and die, things come and go, but always IS happens.
The funny thing is that I think most people have already experienced no separate self, and it just wasn’t that big of a deal. It’s completely ordinary, as Tony says. If you’ve ever “lost yourself” in a book or a movie, or been “in the flow”, where it seemed like your body was on autopilot and was just doing its thing with no “you” controlling anything, then guess what. That was the experience of no separate self. Congratulations! Once you’ve recognized the illusion it becomes easier and easier to see through.

Well there is no Tony to be liberated and this truth has been realised by Tony (if there was a Tony which there isn't). But however you word it there is still a claim that there is liberation and the communication of liberation coming out of the body commonly known as Tony Parsons. He is saying that there is only liberation, even before the experience of something dropping away. It is exactly the same as it always is, regardless of the contents of any particular mind. It has such a simple quality-less quality that is what makes it such a trouble to describe.
Yes if only he could say it as succinctly as you. Unfortunately he confuses people with all the talk of dropping the self, having a energy shift, and how he is the only one in thousands of years of interest in liberation who really knows what it's about. Tony is a nihilist (there is nothing) not a determinist (there are things but we are not in control but something else is). If reality remains unknown then your statement of what reality is (unknown) is also invalid. Your statement invalidates itself. In my experience to get to know reality, awakening, liberation, love etc then one has to let go of the tight hold of the intellect with it’s confusing beliefs and logic and go by your own consciousness,your own wisdom and your own aliveness. We are not separate from any of it, including God if that is your belief, and so we are very well placed to comment, assess and judge it. With your logical position then you have made yourself a victim of God. You have denied your own aliveness, your own reality and have decided that whatever happens is out of your hands. Determinism is not awakening, it is a logical belief held by a separate someone who logically believes they are no one and projects this onto everyone else. It is dualistic philosophy and held in thought. Stop thinking and it all collapses, all fixed ideas go and what is left is indescribable, but is instinctively recognised and fully understood and complete. It is seen that it is beyond the duality of I exist and I don’t exist, I am in control / I am not in control, God is in control / God is not in control. Get to know reality (yours) without the load of heavy fixed reference points that you have learned. You will see that nothing that you have stated has any reality to it and you will be greatly relived by that.
What I am saying is that I have discovered there is a third factor called the question mark. Lets put in a question mark instead of a symbol. There is God and creation. Consciousness and manifestation. There is matter and spirit. And there is this third factor that no one has ever spoken of. I am saying I have discovered the third factor that no one has ever spoken of. And I am supremely happy because of it. No one is God's victim, because there is no one there. There is only the idea of someone being Gods victim. This means it is fine to assert whatever view you have and to hold it however you do, because that is also part of the cosmic Play. The planet is on a journey from the binary system to a system of the third factor. From Good and evil to the system of force, spirit, and potential. From dualistic, to something beyond dualistic. The other point to make is the difference between an observation of quality and a judgment of quality. An observation is simply that A has quality Z. But a judgement says that A should be more like Y. So to point out the way something appears is entirly different from saying things should be different. Everything is exactly how it should be, and that includes every good and bad thing that has ever appeared to happen. It is all necessary to the whole, can cannot be split off into a secondary cause. If you think you choose your words, then you will see others to be choosing thier words and may or may not have judgements about the words they use. But if you see you do not choose your words, you do not choose your actions, then you will see that no one else ever has. And since no one has ever chosen to do or say anything, there can be no fault found in myself or in anyone else. Everything that appears to happen springs of the same source, and cannot be divided into secondary causes.
