Smart looking van, i like when you open the side door your met with a seat and not the back of a kitchen cupboard, looks more spacious that way to my eye, as you pointed out a very well looked after van, i do tend to smile when say Kirsty points out the lack of usb power, funny thing is in 2024 Kirsty has a point, but when did this phenomenon happen in our lives lol, we happily managed before, we have no usb in our motorhome, in fact apart from the normal power banks etc, we use the old tv 12v point to charge things, oh well maybe one day I'll catch up to everyone else 😂😂😂 anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍
hi stephen it really was a nice & well looked after van credit to the prev owner , kirsty spent ages trying to make that bed up (had to cut it out) ..and we had the same layout in our 2001 A/S symbol! , no rear bathroom though as it was a 5.4m van , but god knows what she was up too , like you i’d always use the 12v never a problem but the modern gadgets insist on USB’s , as we left we saw one identical to yours pull in , can’t beat those big windows

Very nice for a Camper! 😊 pain having to make the bed up all the time! In our Motorhome, like you we have a U shape Rear Dinette and leave bed made up all the time!
hi pete , we’ve yet to do that actually , leave the bed made up , kirsty don’t like sitting in the front seats though gives her back ache 😣

Nice van Mike, but seems expensive… probably was the same price brand new 😂. Really interesting layout that I have pondered on for years. I think it works great in day mode, but I can’t work out how practical it would be at night with the beds ?
Hi tony yes i agree there seems no end to these current van prices , they keep saying the bubble will burst but never seems to happen ! We forgot to mention we had that layout years ago in an autosleeper symbol we had , and there was kirsty wondering how to make the beds up in the video ! day time is great , night is time a bit awkward especially with dogs , but fortunately there’s use of the back doors which help a lot making it easier to move about

Something different Mike. The rear washroom is the dominant factor on this van. Looks hardly used. It demonstrates the quality of the Autosleeper build and materials used. Great little van 😃👍🏻🚐 Trev

Hi Mike and Kirsty. There's no sign of prices levelling out, but that goes for everything. I guess if you want something you gotta pay for it!
That van is a good example of a well kept, well built vehicle, all the same it wouldn't be for me. I much prefer your rear lounge layout despite the compromise of a smaller shower room.

hi rob yes every year i hear people saying the prices have got to drop this year , but they never seem to do so , as you say it’s the same with everything else , it was a nice van though and nice to have the sep shower but can’t have everything , we said the same we were prepared to compromise for the a rear lounge

£47000 for a 10-11 year old van. That is daylight robbery. I am glad I built my own.

Wow that’s rich money for that van! We like the rear bathroom but not the front pull out bed, too much faff. That said we’re all different. Take care both 🙏

Lovely van and in very good condition ( although still holding its price) . My last van before giving up ( health and age ) was an Autosleeper Broadway coach built and the quality of the build was out of this world . Thanks for the review and I’m wishing you both a happy new year 🚐👍

Super Van reason it looks so spacious maybe because no real large storage area that's become the loo and shower, but I still like, grand job.

Vans were made them days now they are just stuck together
yes will be interesting to see how the current vans look in 10 years , see if they stand the test of time
Mike, how do you keep mice out while in storage ?
funny you should mention that i was at the yard before work this morning & i thought i heard scratching , after pulling half the van out i gave up couldn’t find anything but they can literally get anywhere poxy things , But unfortunately it’s preventative really , all i do is try to make the van less attractive to them , hoover up as much as possible especially where you eat and behind / down sides of all seating , i always wipe the fridge really clean with those anti bacterial wipes , any tiny spots of spilt drink or biscuit crumbs anywhere , i could do a video on it actually , i also spray that detol spray as i leave the van after a weekend , i spray it all over the seating , cushions and floor and surfaces , there are repellent sprays you can buy but i cant risk that with dogs , ive been at my yard for 8 years and luckily been ok ( as far as i know ! )
