Hi guys hope you are both well , our year started off pretty rubbish and kept us pre occupied with a fair few ups and downs hence not being on youtube as much this year and to top it we lost our white dog lexi a couple of days ago , our heads have been all over the place for a while now hopefully we’ll push through all this and all will be ok and can get back on track , wow! just had a glimpse at your channel and well done you guys you’ve done great ! well deserved , we have a lot of channels to catch up with and comment on

Just got back yesterday from hemsby and caister went for 11 days great weather saw all those military jeeps at the wheels festival in Great Yarmouth on Saturday there’s a bike night on Thursdays at the smokehouse in Ormsby and a campsite next door

Nice D DAY tribute, the french also do the most amazing job looking after all the war memorials, they actually do the fallen proud, i was hoping when you opened the swap box little noel Edmunds was going to jump out 😂🤣😂, in our motorhome we have a 3 way fridge but i think the way to go is a compressor, i think they win hands down, 3 ways are in my opinion to temperamental in hot temperatures, as you've experienced, sun on the fridge side of the van and they dont cope well at all, the trick is to actually turn them down at that point, and not up, turning them up makes them work harder creating heat, anyway another enjoyable vlog keep them coming 👍.
hi Stephen yeah good point turning them down instead of up , makes sense , i think the compressors are great given sufficient enough solar and batteries and also no exterior vents which i forgot to mention !
Noels swap box 😂😂 , always kick myself for never thinking or coming up with the one liners at the time 😡 , as i think i’ve mentioned before normandy is the one we want to do mostly , staying all over that area , the time will come but just can’t yet ..

Another great site find, it looks really nice there, perfect for a few days away. Good to see the Tank back on its plinth at Thetford and the memorial. Pity it’s the last one but I guess age catches up with us all. Another great vlog full of helpful info. Hope to see both soon. Best wishes H&M.😊

Thanks for sharing another interesting video with a great CL. It makes us think we should start to look into staying at CLs, they certainly seem to be great value for money. Your fridge definitely looks bigger than our 3 way fridge and I’m sure you’re right about them being more reliable in hot weather. I remember watching John Virgo when he converted his van and I’m sure in one of his videos he mentioned in cool weather he switches his compressor fridge off over night and the temperature when he checked it stayed cold and was safe. I’m not sure I would want to chance it though.
Hi sylv yeah i remember watching john virgo he was brilliant . he was probably the first one who ever converted a van properly and documented it . he definitely knew he’s stuff didn’t he
Great vlog as usual Kirsty and Mike we have an Auto trail v line 2013 plate ours has a compressor fridge we love it and can stay off grid for about four days without moving the van which I think is quite good we have two AGM batterys and they maintain there charge really well we went from a coachbuilt three way fridge I agree winter maybe a bigger problem we have a set up much like you and run our lights phones etc off a power bank I added usb led lights which I use on mini power banks interesting vlog 😊
i don’t think we’d ever go back to a gas fridge now we are so pleased with ours , no maintenance at all and no fridge vents outside when washing the van there’s no concerns of water getting in 👍😀
Great point also used to hate the vents always discoloured and a nightmare to keep clean 😊

Fridge looks like a great investment. Loads of room in it. Think how many cans of beer you could get in there.
Got my new tow car now so going to do some more Norfolk holidays in future, never know might bump into you.
We went to Felixstowe remembrance day celebrations couple of years ago, just booked premier Inn for 4 nights this year to see it again, it's a great day. If you fancy going 10th of November.

We looked into getting one when we had the large motorhome , so handy to have , yes we really enjoyed that d-day show it was really interesting seeing all that and hearing them talking about it

Having changed our van last year I do miss our compresor fridge it was same size as our now 3way but inside was able to store half as much again,and like you we never heard it at all ,iv did three days off grid without any problems( I do have 2x100 batteries and 200 panel on the roof).Nice to have a glimpse of the memorial and vehicles ,thank you❤
Hi jim yeah we love our fridge no exterior vents when washing it aswell , it’s been really good to us , the D-day at thetford was a lovely day , was very interesting and learned stuff i never knew

Nice video as always 👍 We would never go back to a three way fridge having had a compressor - ours is a taller one than yours on top of the wardrobe which saves our knees ! May we ask where you got the seat covers from as we are looking for exactly the same (a link would be brilliant 👍) - thanks

@@TheFrenchiesMotorhomechannel Brilliant thanks - we do have some which we got from Temu but they are as thick as a pair of ladies tights !! They do protect a bit but look horrible ! - our fridge is 80L Thetford - we never hear it at night although last night we put it on ‘moon’ mode which seems to have used less battery. We have a cheap DC House200ah lifepo4 which we got from Amazon for under £400 and it’s brilliant. No fancy app but not really needed - I hear that Fogstar are bringing out a budget lifepo4 as well. We are like you really and don’t use the van every week so wasn’t prepared to spend a fortune on a battery that would just sit in the storeage yard!
Hi guys enjoying your vlog, we had a compressor fridge in our last van it was really good, it seems to get cold quite quicker than the normal type.
Please can i ask where you get your covers from for your bench seats?we use throws but they are a nightmare, a lot of people recommend shein but ive never used them, yours are the right colours for our van 😊 thank you x
