My 8 year old granddaughter and I made this bag. I set the zipper that’s all and she sewed the rest. It took us 3 hrs but it was a great bonding day. Thank you for this informative tutorial.

I have watched a few bag tutorials, and this one does seem easy, plus it has a zip!. Most tutorials are open top or a hardware closure. I like my stuff to be enclosed. Nice size too.

wish there were more instructions on right or wrong sides of fabric and the zipper as I didnt take my zipper clasp off. Like the bag. With the difficulty I had it turned better than I expected it to. I'm a beginner and I also quilted my outer fabric.
