This is bad game for wasting your time but I have played all pop series Java/ PC/ Wii/ PsP/ GBA/ Nintendo DS/ + Android/ You have never played them I hope i have completed them and It's the game of pop series Most hardest game yet
@@remondobriyard1 sorry if I misunderstood anything, your English isn't that good. But are you saying it's bad because it's hard? And yes I have played the other games. But that is irrelevant because this is neither a sequel nor even the same genre as the other installments. Sure the story has a lot of loose ends, but looking at the gameplay, it is undoubtedly one of the best metroidvania games to ever release.
@@remondobriyard1 yea no 8h completion is bullshit. Unless you've already played it and know what you're doing then maybe. It'll take you about 15 hours to complete if you just focus on the main objective and don't explore. If you do explore, it'll easily take 20-30 hours to beat (depending on how good you are at platforming).
Took me about 30 trys to memorize and complete one of the secret room things.. now got a real tough boss to try figure out 😂 love the game though great fun
my personal favorite platforming bit in this game is the one on the northern-most section of the archives. the one with the red circle traps. it wasn't even the hardest one in my opinion but it was SO satisfying.
I think that was the only one I skipped entirely. I gave up after only a few tries tho, as once I found out the reward wasn't something necessary for the platinum, I decided to move on asap .
You should equip Starving Heart amulet, save you potions, and a headache. When I was watching it, I felt the pain because I'm not good either, very casual.
This game was so much fun. But it was also frustrating. I had a fever during the time I played this game. I even had fever dreams about those frustrating parts of the game🤣
Christ, this gave me anxiety just looking at this. Friggin ulcer inducing, but at the same time, this is what we all signed up for. It's a total fist pump dopamine rush when you finally get it. 😫🤷🏾♂️
I didn’t really struggle that much with the platforming in this game, then again I did my time suffering through platforming in hallow knight’s path of pain
Yea after I tried em, they weren't tooooo bad.. but traversing the map n redoing parts was annoying. Thankfully the game has an option to allow skipping of storyline progression platforming sections. I'm not a huge fan of strictly platforming,, which is why I skipped Aeterna. 😜
@@elveone Both Aeterna and Prince of Persia are the only two metroidvania games I've rage-quit due to the ridiculous masochist pixel-perfect-platforming nonsense. It's simply uncalled for and ruins both games.
@@OldWorldRadioBoston Aeterna had a lower difficulty added after release that significantly reduces the platforming challenges but it is still somewhat hard so you might to check that out if you haven't. It is one of my favorite metroidvanias even with the ridiculous platforming :)
I remember playing this part and getting frustrated but with that frustration from some strange reason it made me pushed harder and want to finish😂. Trust this game will have you going for hours especially does puzzles dam
First time around, yes , it at many times got to the point of frustration. Second go around, kind of expected and got used to the difficulty, and game got more fun. Plus discovered new items/ tasks on second play through
Some parts of this game were a little tricky. That said they were nothing compared to the difficulty of some of the platforming in aeterna noctis (especially on noctis mode which is easily the hardest Metroidvania I’ve ever played). I love both games though.
For me these jumps are really frustrating. Once you think that the "easy" part is the next, be prepared. Right after this travelling upward sand stream there is another one.
Rewatching this & thinking back , im amazed i didn't get more aggravated at all the stupid deaths i kept having. Compared to now, when I'm playing some of these dang ff7 Rebirth minigames on Hard & trying to get the highest rank... just broke a ps5 controller the other day due to the 3d Brawler minigame 😢. $75 for a controller is ridiculously expensive 😫
Wish there were more areas like this in the game, there is also another area challenging enough in the upper city. Hope they soon release a boss rush mode and a way to get again through areas like the hermit's challenge and the hidden floor in the elevator, it is a shame that those challenges won't activate again once you complete them
Seriously? 😮 I broke my 55" tv years ago by chucking my ps4 controller a lil too high & wrecking the screen. It was during 1 of my many attempts at beating the Valkyrie Queen on God of War (2018) 😢. I did eventually win & get the platinum but that was not a great moment for me..lol.
The game has his hard parts, but hell is quite far fetched plus for some parts you have the option to skip them. Play Hollow Knight and then call this game hell. It’s a very beautiful and fun game. I even managed to finish the impossible challenge puzzle.
Oh definitely; I played & 100%'d/platinumed Hollow Knight years ago. Although I used the invincibility glitch to beat the crazy pantheons (yeah im a cheat).... & off-hand, i don't recall the platforming area you mentioned.
Haha I hear that! I know it's far from being extremely tough, especially for ppl that are well-versed in platforming, but I still was pleased that I beat it relatively 'fast.' 🎉😊
This whole area made me turn on platform assist because some of these are controller-throwing hard. I’ve given up on 100%ing the game when I kept losing to this specific part over and over again.
You think this one is bad? IT GETS WORSE! Do yourself a favor and quit playing it and find something better. There are much better metroidvania games that have come out recently that this. Ubisock failed once again.
This sounds like you got frustrated with the game since you could not progress further. Enable platform assist and stop complaining. The OP is doing this for fun and to challenge himself, if you can't understand or have the skill to back it up, please don't write silly comments. How old are you. 11?...
Actually I thought this part wasn't too bad at all, of course I died quite a few times but eventually didn't take too long to get pass it. It's actually the same for most other platforming challenges except the impossible jump challenge and the citadel elevator sawblade challenge which made me pretty frustrated, especially when I found out the reward for the latter challenge is only a skin item.
Yeah it's sometimes really frustrating. But the sense of achievment, once you've beaten a challenge after trying a 100 times is amazing.
Not at all. I would feel Stupid AF. I were just happy to have that part of my game out of my way.
if this is hell then I don't want to go to heaven. most fun I've had with a game in a LONG time.
Second that!

I'll complete this game very soon played over 3hr according to MkIce&Fire RUclips Channel ( 8Hr he played to complete it)

These jumping puzzles had me losing my mind. Lol
The platforming is really amazing. They did a great job.
Bro this platform was harder than the boss fights. I spent hours here

Just got this on my Nintendo, i think it's better than Metroid dread
Absolutely is. I wanted to enjoy dread but I dreaded playing it. No guidance, terrible maps, constant back and forth between levels, trash game. 1/10
I didn’t really struggle that much with the platforming in this game, then again I did my time suffering through platforming in hallow knight’s path of pain
This seems fun. Reminds me of the platforming challenges in Aeterna Noctis but still a bit more subdued.
Yea after I tried em, they weren't tooooo bad.. but traversing the map n redoing parts was annoying. Thankfully the game has an option to allow skipping of storyline progression platforming sections.

@@Styles_Breez That is a fair assessment. Lots of platforming in Aeterna and not the most forgiving one. Cheers!

Yea that's 1 metroidvania that I won't touch, due to knowing how much of the gameplay relies on precise platforming.
@@Styles_Breez oh no you absolutely have to as that game is absolutely brilliant as well as tough. You’ll love it and hate it in equal measure :-D

I was gonna buy this game but after watching this I decided not to anymore
All that torture and frustration for a soma petal? This is why I’ll never 100% his game, just not worth it.

Joypad breaker right there !!!!
😂 I played this particular level n got d hang of it, POP lost crown requires u to be extremely patient with it to progress

NICE ONE, the platforming area is related to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, its regarded as one of the toughest of the game@@Styles_Breez
I have a confession...I pity liked you! Cauze of your pain...
I loved the lost crown. some parts were frustrating but when I finally finished the part that was giving me trouble it was very satisfying
It has 2 checkpoint so it's not hell hell if it's one go
Эта какие нужны нервы иметь чтобы так пройти это сюжетка
when i beat this... i said to myself.... "im the best in the world".... hahahhaha
Haha I hear that! I know it's far from being extremely tough, especially for ppl that are well-versed in platforming, but I still was pleased that I beat it relatively 'fast.' 🎉😊
This is easy. I do have lots of experience from PoP in hollow knight tho
blood sucking puzzle
Most satisfying game in prince of Persia series
This was sooooo hard 😅
👀🍿😱🍿
I hate to say it but you need waaaaaaaaaay more practice
Lol yeah.. everytime I failed to jump n just stood as the spikes came (as i was on the moving beam).. really made me feel dumb n nearly ragequit.
This wasn't even that hard compared to others.
Ez
Unfortunately, I'm too bad for such challenges, even if you play this part on easy...🤷🏻♂️

Useless prizes
you still need it for the platinum trophy on PS
Noob
The bit that killed the game for me. Not fun or rewarding whatsoever.
