Back in the day when i would travel the length of the country to watch a meeting like this...strange i cant even be bothered to watch speedway on tv nowadays all one line with exactly the same riding styles now...sad...
The great old place some world champions were made here shabby place but a great place it was to be on a saturday night some memorable nights with great racing most the time

Ahhh how I miss Dudley Wood home of the Heathens, happy memories.
Sigalos, Cook, and Moran with clutch riding, right when England was mounting a comeback. Some real nail biting moments in this test.
