- Armenia is one of the worlds oldest countries, although its size and shape has fluctuated over the years, its influence is felt around the world. It was the first country to adopt Christianity and its mountainous landscape is dotted with ancient churches and monasteries. Its small size and stunning countryside lends itself to the perfect road trip country. I rented a car for a few days to draw a big circle through the center of the country, trying to see some of the main historic sites that have shaped this legendary region. In the second part of my roadtrip I start in Khor Virap and continue my journey to Lake Svan and here’s how it went…

I am an archaeologist and I am very interested in the standing stones and stone circles of Armenia. Do you know about these??
I heard about them but didn't make it out there. Sounds very interesting though especially as an archeologist.
The cascade is not completed yet. There are a lot of work to do. Particularly The last tier needs to be completed, as well as work on landscaping the side park areas
