Targeted customers for these two vehicles are completely different. Want a car for the whole family + dog? Go for the Tesla. Married without kids snd enjoy dynamic driving? Go for the Taycan.
The Spirit and ethos behind Porsche and Tesla are actually nearly opposites. Tesla is all about the most convenient, cost-effective (self driving) car on the market, designed to take away the task of driving. Meanwhile Porsche’s goal is to build the ultimate sportscar (911) and translate that into their other cars. A Panamera, for example, will handle more like a sportscar than comparable cars in the segment (Audi A7/A8 /S-Class). The typical Porsche buyer wants a car that is fun to drive and adapts to a dynamic driving style.

Bruh has never taken a physics class... it's supposed to flex and crumple to dampen deceleration over a larger amount of area/time.

Ya but if it’s too rigid then that’s actually more deadly cuz there’s no energy absorption. My grandpa told me stories of when he saw cars being towed away, he said that they still looked fine but the people actually died.

You want the cabin to be rigid AF and the cumple zones to crumple. That's exactly what they talked about in the video.
