Novatroop don't sing describing the story like most Brazilian Nerdcore, his musics are intense and have beautiful and complex lyrics, one of the best nerdcore musicians for me
Not the biggest fan of the very story centric songs in the brazilian geek community, but, i really like the way Novatroop does it; this will be quite a mouthful: Novatroop treats songs like this as theatrical pieces, theatrical pieces tend to not be so dependent on the original story as they are of the theme that the story presents, the objective is not to purely describe the source, it's to describe the feeling and overall theme of the narrative. By doing that, Novatroop is able to enrich the source material to a much higher degree, while being able to strongly present their identity into these songs, thus making projects like this, stand on their own two feet; not purely as a byproduct of another source, as it is in most cases in the geek scene. Just my two cents. :]
