    Been using the same Synology 712 for more than 10 years. Very reliable, frequent updates for the operating system and an excellent set of Synology mobile applications that can be used with it.

      I can already see that I will be very happy with this new NAS. The mobile apps are already prove to be very useful.

    Rocking my synology ds215+ for couple of years now. Best NAS I ever had. I suggest adding synocommunity repo to expand your app library. I dont run my home assistant on it(despite the option) but there is nice integration should you want to start/stop it when you need it remotely with HA on another device.

      Oh thanks nice. You mean that you usually turn it off and wake it up when you need it?

      @@csongorvarga yeah I cannot justify to run it all the time. So I wake it and shutdown with HA. It takes about 3 min to start it.
