Thanks for these videos. Coach Han explains the basics very very well. One request: Can Coach Han tell us how to practice 'pulling' the racket by ourselves & how to identify if we are 'pulling' it correctly. I ask because when I see the videos, I feel I understand everything but when I go on the court, I am doing wrong & using my shoulder because I think just pulling is not sufficient to put the shuttle from backline of one side to backline of another side or even when smashing. If someone would feed the shuttle like in this video, may be it is easy but we cannot afford so many shuttles/court or someone to feed us (most people whom we play with want to just play the game & don't want to practice like this),so, we are mainly trying to learn while we play. So, if Coach Han tell us how to practice 'pulling' the racket by ourselves & how to identify if we are 'pulling' it correctly, that would be wonderful. Thanks again for all the videos.
It is very important to practice your strokes. However, practicing alone has its limits. This is because the swing has to be done while moving along the shuttlecock, not on the spot. Go back from home position and swing. back to the home position. This should be repeated. When you are alone, it would be better to do strengthening exercises such as weights and stretching. Anyone can do a swing while looking in the mirror. It's not like hitting a live shuttlecock.
@@full-swing Thanks for the reply. What I meant was, how do I know I am ‚pulling‘ correctly? I think I am doing it right but the shuttle is not going as you explain & how it goes in your videos.
If you do not have a shuttlecock, it is recommended to practice other exercises. Do reinforcement exercises such as weights and stretching that you don't normally do. How often do you need to practice? Practicing until you don't want to practice is real practice. cheer up!

of course. To throw the racquet with the least amount of force, practice pulling with your fingers.
