That's a missed opportunity. The crashing sound should be the sound from the old Lego games. Now that would be awesome
Iirc that’d be against beamng’s tos as they would probably have to modify base game files.
@@crypt0red560 easy fix. Make your own. Just make a random Lego build and drop it onto a tile floor. That way you can also adjust what pieces you want to add/swap/remove to get the sound that sounds the best
@@TwinkleNZ its not the problem with the sound, it might be against tos to insert custom crash sound effects
@@greatestape960 nope, there's both tutorials and official modpacks that replace the crash sounds in game. It's just a matter of compiling them

It's the best mod for Beamng ever, the amount of destructions and fun you can have with it are endless
Now they just need to add the ability to build your own cars.

You have the option to build your own car. You have to pick the pieces to attach to a frame.
I was waiting for you to cover this, I love the physics of the pieces falling apart
This is actually freaking awesome. I love Legos. I have a crap ton of them in my house all put together in my room. And to see it in beamng, with actual Lego physics, is so freaking cool. Yeah, Id say this is easily the best mod of 2023.

You should do a race the water with lego cars. Can you imagine the carnage when you guys slam in to trees and such?
The headrest on the seat is on a hinge that moves based on the forces acting upon the car.
This reminds me of when, as kids. we’d build lego cars and smash them in a 4-way collision. If the wheels, steering wheel or driver came off, you’re out. We had to make rules banning “wheel sweepers”, basically just a long flat piece made to take out wheels. Then we had to make windshields mandatory, since every vehicle devolved into a block on wheels. Good times.
So Cool. STAR WARS Lego mods are appearing in online Call of duty games etc now, You can Play COD AS A STORMTROOPER LEGO now 😅

Imma be honest, what surprised me the most is that all the individual pieces domt tank FPS. I think it was larger chunks that broke off until i staredt to rip ot apart and used the "break" button and it fell apart into small pieces. Everything abothisnis impressive.
I belive it's because BeamNG already handles many voxels pretty well. And these cars are made out of basically many little pieces that are individualy sturdy and unbreakable. That means when normal car has to handle hundereds of bending pieces along with detachable ones, swivels etc. etc. Lego cars have literarly a couple dozen maybe hundered and a half at large. So by beamng standards, Lego cars are lightweight in comparasion to normal cars.
CAN'T wait fir the multiplayer and how much fun its gonna be to watch you guys tear the hills up lol
for low-end users like me, the mod actually doesn't impact performance as much as you would think

I have only seen this mod whete all the cars are already built. There was one mod where you could build your own car.
As someone who spent a big part of his childhood throwing Lego cars at walls and rebuilding them, this mod is great.

I think the lego cars are meant to be a renault 11 because theres the half renaut 11 in the pack

As a company, Lego should buy the rights to use BeamNG code and create the most epic Lego City experience, where you can walk/drive around and build your cars. This would give any (grown-up) child the best Lego game ever (imagine Lego Racer Remastered) and BeamNG a lot of money and recognition to provide us with an even better simulator.
