I don't see anyone talking about lovely so here I go: that was one of the best duets i've ever seen on a show like this. they mixed very well together. defiantly two people who are amazing singers on their own and with a partner.
How could they have not turned for that second singer?!?!? Olly, finally did, but he wasn't going to and that guy was so much better than so many who get up there. That guy as brilliant!!! Even his guitar playing was awesome. Sometimes I think these guys get told not to turn for some people.
The one with the pink hair (no idea who she is, sorry) seemed very sure that either Tom or Olly was the right coach, I’m guessing she didn’t turn because she thought she was the wrong fit for him. Will probably didn’t turn because he just didn’t want to (fair enough, to each their own). Tom likely didn’t turn because Alex was pretty pitchy and had a forced vibrato in his voice that would be a lot of work to fix. Olly turned late because he heard potential but was probably hoping someone else would turn so he didn’t have to, and then nobody else turned so he went for it. While I really enjoyed Alex’s performance, it definitely had some red flags in it stylistically, and honestly I’m surprised anyone turned at all. Thank you, Olly!

The last girl/woman’s performance of When the Party’s Over is so emotional and artistic, and both her vocals and piano playing. The way she lingers in some places really shows how much she’s feeling the song, I’d do something similar back when I still played piano.
Yeah, some people sang her songs so differently, they were practically unrecognizable. If I didn’t know English, I would have no idea what Bad Guy was about with how upbeat the guy was singing it.
