I bow to everyone who has the courage to sing here, wonderful. The jury sometimes seems very strange to me, that's not normal. I suspect some of the jury can't stand that because some singers are better than the entire jury put together.
Perla skalauskaite.. if I close my eyes I swear I can hear Kate Bush
Wow I tried the closing eyes and definitely hear shades of Kate Bush loved it
Some of these singer are amazing, and the judges do my head in, but there again they only have 6 contestants to chose from, I suppose it's difficult

1st guy: Can't understand a word coming out f his mouth. If you're going to sing in English and want to be understood then practice your diction.
And maybe u should test your hearing
Some of the singers in this or any competition sound like they’re imitating the original singer’s interpretation. They add nothing of themselves to the performance, so why choose their performance over the original? Maybe it’s because the original was so strong they can hear nothing else, or perhaps they failed to connect to the song? idk, but I wish teachers/coaches or whomever would help them find their own voices and interpretation before they audition or perform. I’d rather hear something of the truth of the person onstage, than hear them singing a song just like an artist I can already listen to on Spotify.
So I have just read your mini story about how unoriginal these artists were to your ear
1 his voice at least 1 octave lower than original and completely different arrangement
2 while it was originally sung by Bob Dylan in a folk style this version was sung by a female in a country style
3 where do I start with this version it's completely different to the original sung by Satchmo
4 while the armament was similar that was a Celine song normally sung in high register while he sung it in a mid register and again different arrangement
5 I can't comment as I'm not familiar with that song
6 seriously you believe she sounds like the original, she the lady singing must have one of the most unique voices around
7 if you think she sounds like the original I don't know what you have been putting in your pipe and smoking it to come to that conclusion
8 once again I'm dumbfounded how you came up with how this young man sounds like the original FEMALE singer
9 on this one has a very similar arrangement but that's where the similarities stop as Billie sings the song softly with a airie feeling almost whispering while this young lady sung it in a full chest and head voice

All that said your observations cannot be more wrong you might just want to keep on listening to Spotify and not comment on things that you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about about
They are unique and they did a wonderful job. I’m not sure what video you’re referring to but it isn’t this one.
