I live in Boise and I’m not sure I’d recommend southern Idaho for touring. Our roads are narrow and loaded with super wide vehicles in a big hurry. Even our north/south highways are mostly in steep valleys with very little shoulder unfortunately. But, wow up north it’s perfect. I went up there to see the Hiawatha trail and was pleasantly surprised by the useful and beautiful cascade trail that goes across the panhandle. That’s the good stuff.
Another great engaging presentation. Looking forward to more.
Thank you!! (It was great seeing the gang this evening.)
i am with you on WOUNDED KNEE!

You missed Crazy Horse? Would have loved that place I bet.
I actually headed up that road Wednesday afternoon/evening but they had just closed. Yes, I believe it would have been very moving.
I’m really enjoying your adventure. I live near Smithfield, Va. We can host you at our house when you get near if that works for you.
Thanks. I am planning to finish my journey near there. I will keep you in mind.
Grew up in Hampton and New Port news
I think you would have enjoyed riding the Mickelson Trail in South Dakota.
It was very tempting. Someday!
