Have you ever heard of Peck Park in Galesburg, IL? It's got some awesome BNSF power and Amtrak. You should railfan there, Mike, even though it's not an official train park.

Those Talgo sets are nice except when there is a problem with a particular car; then the whole set is out of service. The RI found this out with the AeroTrain sets they had from GM. I talked with one of the mechanical department guys when I was working at the Kansas City Kansas Mo-Kan Division offices when I was going to school. The cars were GM bus bodies and noisy.
Yeah, the semi-permanent couplings do make maintenance a bit more difficult.

The Amtrak Cascade Talgo trains are "tilting trains" correct? (at least the coaches are) Allowing them to go around curves faster? That said, I've never seen a video of them where they appear to be going very fast at all.
Yes, they are tilting trains. They only run on one train in the U.S., Amtrak Cascades and the top speed for the route is 79 MPH.
Outside the NEC, I've never seen many Amtrak videos where the trains are moving very fast at all. 79MPH seems optimistic!

Those are actually "Cabbage" converted F40PH's. They don't have an engine, but can be used as a cab car to save time not turning the train around, and for storage of baggage. There's only one F40 left on Amtrak with a motor, but that engine is only used for HEP
