On the Fascia of the second level at Providence Park, the south end is painted Red. The north end is green with Timbers names. No question that Sinclair's name will go there. Its been painted red for a few years now.
A great player. I love that, even though she didn't have a choice for most of her NWSL career, someone from the PNW stayed in the region for her club career.

Starting 2002 - 2005 UofP NCAA champs, sold out Merlo Field was the origins of the Riveters'....The only player jersey I have ever owned and worn 2014 jersey.....As mentioned on the commentary it was her instinct and ball placement that is unmatched...the soft touch could be madding but it worked in goals Scored.....favorite moment of all time was in a losing effort in the 2016 Semi in the classic overtime against the WNYFlash... her comeback goal response was so deliberate and fierce...thank you Sinc from sec 106
Sinclair was a fantastic player.She carried Canada on her shoulders for years.Her game against the USA in the semi-final of the 2012 London Olympics was one of the most fantastic performances by an athlete in women's football.

Not absolute GOAT. Great player. Great record scoring. Good Olympian. Seems like a nice person and teammate. But not the Goat. Carli Lloyd or Mia Hamm get those honors. Not Marta. Not Ellen White. Not Popp. Not Rapinoe. Not Morgan. Gotta have all the accolades to be considered the goat.

@@PaulLe-jk4uq perhaps. Greatest soccer player in Canada then yes. Highest female scorer until now. Yes. But when talking about the greatest of all time, many factors come into that. Not trying to be harsh with her. Just stating a fact that a lot of these media folks tend to say things that are to drive an agenda and it's not the case. My argument for Carly Lloyd is the fact that she's one on every level plus scored a hat trick in a World Cup final. I'm just saying. Mia Hamm has a lot of the same attributes and accolades. So that's why I give it to her. Not Waumbach but she was a phenomenal player as well.
