Richard White Thanks. Yes it's nice to view them as a collection. You deserve some of the credit in finally bringing them together! Thanks for your help.
Good Lord! When you backed up and showed all the units I was chuckling in disbelief. That's a fantastic project with a fantastic result! You're definitely going to need a bigger board! lol. I wish I could like this video twice.
Thanks Mark. As I hinted in the video, it’s actually too big to fit comfortably on my table. As a result I have had to reorganise and reduce it. A case of my eyes being bigger than my table! Megalomania often goes hand in hand with collecting a Wargame army 😁
They look great, chapeau.I also like the Front Rank figures too.It gives me some hope in assembling my French Army that it took you this long to complete.I am a painfully slow painter and easily distracted, but seeing these videos Spurs me on.Many thanks for sharing(any room for an extension!!!)
Mark Hetherington Thank you Mark, that's very kind of you. We are in the same boat when it comes to painting mate 🙄. Just remember it's not a race and if it starts to get tedious then paint something else for a while or take a break altogether. (Already extended and so no more room 🙁.......maybe the loft?🤣😂)
Hi there, very impressed with your Army. I am not a gamer, I just like painting Napoleonic figures. I must admit I am impressed with your display and look forward to any further subjects that you may post.
john crome Hi John and thank you for your kind comments, which are much appreciated. I haven't posted a video in a while as my painting mojo has been at a low level. Having decided on a WWII project for Chain of Command I am now a little more enthused and so hope to be posting something soon. Cheers Keith
Mary Hinge Thanks Jim. As I seem to remember, you advised me some time ago that painting wasn't a race...that's good advice I have taken on board....but although I said ten years building on the vid, on reflection I think it's nearer fifteen! That was certainly no race....not even a stroll....more a drunken stumble perhaps? Not quite what you had in mind! Thanks for commenting 😳
15 years. Definitely not a race. I don’t think you could even call that a marathon. Must be a great feeling to finish though and the results are really inspirational.
Cracking display, I like your mindset " my army my choice ". Just taking back up the brush after a rather long bout of painters block, and got a lot of British and French 28mm to complete, the later whichhave been partpainted for the last 18 months easily. Again likewise a very understanding wife also with my hobbies, however she does partake in one of my others, as we are both historical reenactors.
@@theenigmaticgamer wow! That’s quite an undertaking. Not sure I’d have mustered the enthusiasm after 10yrs. Still, I’ve zig-zagged from 10mm to 15mm and back to 10 for my WW2 collections. The only thing I’m certain of is that I won’t be doing 28mm anything. One of the reasons for Napoleonics in 15mm was that I’d have space for two armies and never lack an opponent. It was intended as a minor side line but has grown beyond all reason. Funny that.
Great to see your Rank Front French army, like you. I likewise prefer Rank Front miniature, current 1400 models, French, Russian, Austrain, Italy, Polish and Westphalia, really enjoying painting them.
Superb looking army looking its best all laid out. Great stuff. I use smaller bases for my command figures. Circle for generals and 50x50 for brigade commanders. As for battle yes they won’t fit all at once. Bring on reserves.
On Point HQ Merci mon brave! As I said in the vid, glad it's done, but with mixed feelings really. Smaller projects from now on I think....which I can fit onto my table! Your vids have encouraged me to dig into my Bolt Action stockpile, starting with late War British. Having just built my first plastic tank kit in ages (Cromwell) I'm now looking at painting and weathering it and really enjoying it too. I can see me diverting into kit modelling for a while...reminds me of my Airfix days in the 60's!!
That's exactly how I felt about my Bolt Action Germans! Looking forward to seeing your Bolt Action British too - hopefully the superglue gel allowed you to get on with the plastic infantry a whole lot easier than I found them many years ago. I always treat a tank or a vehicle as a bit of a reward for completing an infantry section :D
Beautiful army mate, very impressive. I’m just about to start 28mm Napoleonics and seeing your collection in inspirational 😁👍 I’ve just subscribed and look forward to more.
BattleBunkerBlog Gaming Group Thanks very much! Napoleonics is a great subject and I wish you luck with the project. Thanks for the sub. You have some nice looking vids yourself which I'll be taking a look at as I'm just starting a late War British army for Bolt Action. I've subscribed just now. Cheers
Impressive!!! Wow, nicely done. You completed your huge army in about 1/3 the time that I've been working on my Napoleonics... which are sadly much less numerous. I love Front Rank figures, too.
Yankee Wargamer Thanks very much Eric. I think it took so long because I kept taking breaks to do other things and when I first started the French I was also building a British Peninsula army at the same time. I eventually abandoned the British and sold them, concentrating on the French. I'm glad they are done 😁
John Wayne Everett Thanks very much John. Glad you like it. It's been a while since I last did a vid. I'm looking to post another this week. Stay well my friend.

WOW GREAT I LOVE IT ....REALLY NICE CLEAN MEANS A LOT ...Well Done yes light regiments carry flags in my army also .......you bet better looking on top of it all ..
Thanks very much indeed for your kind comments Jim. Much appreciated. Keith
It truly is breathtaking when you complete, then show off your entire army. Wonderfully done!
Thanks. It took a lot longer than I anticipated. Would probably have benefited from a little advance planning 🤣
@@theenigmaticgamer planning these things ahead of time is always a challenge. But, well done nonetheless.

Lovely looking collection. I agree I too love metal over plastic figures
Boots on the Table with Dom very kind of you Dom. They were not necessarily a Labour of love at some points, more of an endurance test 😂
That’s a great collection. I’ve got something similar, however mine are 15mm. Well and truly eclipsed by your well turned out parade. 😁
Sam B I ended up rebasing them all because they wouldn't fit comfortably on the board!! They are now in 36's. Glad you liked them.
