  • A vital part of the circular economy opportunity is the untapped economic and social value from the proper management of waste and recycling of plastics. In India, this represents a $2 billion opportunity and could create around 1.4 million jobs.
Now is the time to catalyse efforts and capital to turn plastic ‘waste’ from a scourge into a resource for a thriving circular economy.
Join Circulate Capital, alongside philanthropy partner Tata Trusts and content partner Infinitive, for a thought-provoking discussion exploring the potential for all stakeholders, including Government, corporates, small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, and the informal sector to realize value from India’s circular economy opportunity. Innovative waste management and recycling solutions, the power of collaboration, and catalytic capital present the winning factors that will help propel India to become a circular economy champion and serve as a role model for other markets.
Hear from a broad range of leaders from across the plastic and waste management value chain during a panel discussion on “Accelerating plastic circularity in India through collaboration and catalytic capital”.

I wonder, how many times will these recyclable plastics be recycled? so say the beach shampoo bottle is used, what happens to that bottle after that? how many times will this bottle be recycled until is no more recyclable? How do the brands ensure multi layered circularity in the system? Why isn't reuse promoted for reusable varieties of plastics as recycling also downgrades plastic
