Hi. I just found your channel. Congratulations on your first year. Here’s a tip with setting up your classroom. There should be no blind spots. You should be able to see your students from every angle. Watching your setup I noticed you have 2. Your teacher small group table and the library. The tall cabinet is blocking it from the small group table and the tall book shelf in the library. Switch the two bookshelves in the library so the tall one is against the wall and the short one as a divider. More the cabinet to the left and your table to the right. Hope this helps. I hope that other colleagues at your site will be able to offer advice regarding what to post on your walls. Your classroom will come together in time, so please don't be stressed if you do not have the financial means at the moment to add more to your room. When I first started teaching back in 1992, I had only $72 to my name. Be there to give your students the emotional and academic support to grow over the year. Thanks girly! It most definitely is different. I’m thinking about that now. Finishing up with 20+ kindergarteners and then have to be a mom and wife after 😮💨for 5 days a week😪 that’s going to be a lot so I’m looking to God. Lol second year 🎉 woop woop! 🙌🏿
@@Oliveyourmoney Sadly yes. I’ve seen many small classes at this school and that’s definitely a con. Shaped differently but still ridiculously small. They told me 20 but it didn’t sound like they were sure 😳 so I’ll have to wait and see 👀
