sewing pee pads and bedding is super easy once you can sew a semi-straight line on the sewing machine. i had zero experience when i made some of mine and they are still good 4 years later. it also helps if you have a mom/grandma who likes to sew
A good option instead of pea pads, which is cheaper and more eco-friendly: you can use tarps! We got our giant tarps from Walmart (you can also find them at Target too I think) and they where only like $5-7? For a 10x30 foot tarp! I would highly recommend! Love you and the pigs 💕💕💕
you really went all out last month and bought so much!! ahh the pig room stuff looks so good! i really wanna buy from austin's shop! you're rocking the short hair, it's amazing on you!
@@wynterflows1797 cool! also if you live in canada it's sold at canadian tire for only $3 for 40lb of the woodstove pellets sometimes when it's on sale which is sooo cheap!!!
thank you! I found some wood stove pellets at tractor supply but the were out of stock when I drove to my location, so I'll have to look again next time! I'm still trying to decide if I want yesterdays news or something else on top, I find the carefresh gets all mixed up in my hay piles
I have used the tractor supply pellets for my rabbits and they worked wonderfully. However I don’t have a tractor supply near me so I ordered a different brand from fleet farm and they are very cheap. I believe it’s 40 pounds for $6
Great video I love you soooooooooo much I just bought some fleece for my guinea pigs from spotlight you probably won’t know what spotlight is cause I live in New Zealand 🇳🇿 love you 💗And it will take a long time to get here because in the nz we are in lockdown 💕
hii so i know you prob have a plain of what your doing for your liners but what i did is fleece on top then a towel/towels and then the pee pad since the pee pads are waterproof on the bottem just sew them all and its really good i can just put the liner for mine
I recently got my pigs the pepper treats from SmallPetSelect after seeing your piggies like them, and one of my pigs is now always begging for them 😂 Every time I come in the room, she climbs up to the top of the cage to get some more haha
Yay! Thank you! the target bath mats have been working great for me, they last a couple days before I have to swap them out and I often let them dry overnight then reuse them and only wash once a week
I’m am getting two guenia pigs in a year. I have done lots and lots of Reaserch so I know exactly what to get. But I would love it if I could have some tips and tricks on how to keep your guinea pigs happy and healthy and just a little bit more overall care tips by someone experienced in the comment section or even you. You are probably my favorite RUclips or at least my favorite guinea pig you tuber because you are so enthusiastic and seems so nice! Love goes out from me 💖
I have 4 guinea pigs. my main advice would be making your cage big enough and having enough hides water bottles etc in there. the minimum for 2 girl guinea pigs Is 8 sq ft but I’d go at least 10 and always size up for boys. Also wooden and fleece hides are best in my opinion and the wooden ones give them something to do as they can also chew them which keeps their teeth down. and mine love tunnels! hope that helps :)
@@alyssaharman3133 hello! Tysm for the advice . I would be doing a 6x4 cnc cage with a loft and I would have guenia dad liners and chew houses and other fleece hides I hope you have a great day!
that sounds like an amazing size! I would also make sure they have easy access to hay, I prefer huge hay piles. and lots of toys & hides to keep them enriched!
Obviously we just keep buying fleece cuz Joanns keeps having sales! 😂 I feel ya girl! I got my bf a bunch of cute fleece for his soon to be watermelon themed cage for the girls he just rescued 🥰 and all new fleece for my girls! It’s an addiction!
I LOVE your videos. I was wondering if you can make some more videos on really IMPORTANT things like health checks and vet things. I’m sorry if you actually do have a video and I’m not seeing it but I’m new to watching your channel. I also am getting 2 guinea pigs and I am 9 almost 10 years old
@@guineapigfreakfbpage7463 it’s not a normal kind of vegetable. maybe people have soaked their loofahs in water and seen them expand, but some haven’t expanded as well. I err on the side of caution and have stopped giving them to my pigs
Ye I heard that too about loofah I don’t give it to my rabbits but I also heard that pellets do this but then I research it and I realised that the pellets will be broken down when you pet is eating them and there’s like things in there tummy to help them break food down even more so I don’t know about loofah but I just don’t want to give it to them as I haven’t found much on them but I don’t really trusted it as I like to give natural toys like safe wood willow and grassy toys to them but that my opinion
Autumn- "I'm not buying anymore fleece"
Also Autumn- "okay so here's 9 more fleeces I just bought" 🤣🤣🤣🧡
It’s an issue 😅😅
You guys are both my favourite RUclipsrs
You really inspire me to be a better guinea mom. I look forward to your hauls and themes every month :)
Same!
I'm so glad!

I love all your videos. Not only do I get to see cute piggies but I've learned a lot from you.
I'm so glad! Thanks for the support x
I learned to sew when I was 4 years old so I'm positive you'll do great!!
I hope so too!

Definitely!!

I use wood stove pellets on the bottom and care fresh on the top of my rabbits litter box To prevent sore hocks and make them feel comfortable

You should have big open cupboards on the wall to show off your rainbow of fleece!
I love your videos amazing and so are you
Awsome huals
I was at big lots the other day and they still sell the bath mats. It might just be the big lots in your area. I bought several for my guinea pigs.

definitely let me know how the 20 lbs of hay goes w 7 pigs because i also have 7 pigs and i go through like 2 oxbow bags every week or 2
I went through the 20 pounds in a little less than a month! I ordered 25 this time and will update how that goes in my next haul likely!
@@autumngrace. thank you!! give your piggies a treat for me :)
It’s WAYYYYY cheaper by unit price to buy larger boxes of hay.
I bought the 2 name plates separately and then emailed the shop via Etsy with pictures. Is that what you did as well?
Yes I placed orders as I got new pigs then sent the images via Etsy chat!

the bathmat is pink, no purple in that at alll unless lighting is messed up lol. But i love your videos girl!

Why not try fresh pine cat pine litter pellets
