There should be a grease zerk on the pivot of the wheel assembly. Take red cap square head cap off on the outside end of the pivot and zerk is behind cap. Also cables should be more loose than youre showing. Watch another house on a lake with the cables as loose as you showed, the suspension will be limiting out the cable, creating a slapping motion as the cable gets tight. The suspension moves more than one thinks. Otherwise great tips.

I've actually been keeping the gears in my winches greased up. It's messy but I feel anywhere metal meets metal should be greased
