I really want to learn piano but i always want to learn everything very quickly. I used to play it but i had to stop. Now i want to restart but then i'd have to learn reading partitures again etc. Any tips?
It's difficult to give tips that fit everyone. Some prefers playing from notes, but in my case I usually learn the chords of a song first, then the medoly. When I know the chords and melody, I add extra harmonies (based on the chord). This works for me, but may not be an ideal way of playing or learning to play for others. But what is true for everyone, is that you don't andvance your skills if you don't practice. This is the boring truth. I don't know any shortcuts here. Practicing gets more and more motivating, the more results you see. Don't compare your skills with others - it can sometimes be bad for motivation.
