For composition, in colorpicker your red and blue color must have same S (saturation) and B (brightness) level.
Also you can play with "Dodge/Burn" tool. I placed example in the end of description.

download is for downloading a skin. if you see a ! on the top corner then you don't have the certain type of things so it can work.

To work with large images is better to use a powerful editor "GIMP" etc. that has more different tools.
Pony Skincraft - a young, poorly-known project. Which started just as an experiment. At this point, I do not have the time or resources for its development.
The maximum that I plan to add in the future - support of 128x64 (double density) skins.
