It works off Bluetooth so you tag would need to be in range of any iPhone with Bluetooth turned on. If your dog visited someone with an iPhone you would get pinged with his location. Better than nothing!!!

Hi David, unfortunately I’d agree with you there - if there aren’t Apple devices around where you are (or your dog is), I’d say you would be out of luck 😶
This thing it doesn t work at more then 5-8m all the time the signal is not weak …..only advertising not a very good product when i called apple to explain me all this they closed phone 2 times in my nose
