The pearly-dress one looks wonderful. The other one is a little distorted and I think may have looked better in a cube or rectangular prism mold.

The dress lamp is lovely, and the body lamp looks like a woman made of stars in the universe. I wish you had a smaller body mold for it, since it got to large and distorted in the resin dome.

I watched the lady from “pouring your heart out” use a paint pen on her resin mold. I thought for sure it wouldn’t work and would stain the mold or ruin it. I couldn’t believe how well it worked! Could you try some ideas using a paint pen? Her projects are really big and I like the smaller projects you do.

I was going to let you know Steve did one about a year ago, but I see Steve beat me to it, lol.
I absolutely love that channel - she’s such a delight. I actually found Steve through one of her videos where she mentioned him & how much it helps to have other resin artists also testing products & techniques. (I don’t remember which one it is, but she does definitely mention Steve’s channel along with a couple others).

@@jomerrick33 I was thinking about aiding your link request and realized I wasn't sure which comment it was relating to. One you can find by simply entering 'pour your heart out resin' into YT search or on google, the other with Steve's link, just go to YT search and enter 'using paint in resin molds' and it will list several of Steve's videos specific to that and many other artists teaching it, too. Hope this helps.

I'll be doing this with flowers from my sister's funeral. For bigger flowers I'm using my large pyramid mold. She died unexpectedly from a massive stroke due to covid. I've paid my niece a nice chunk of money to help with all the costs. That's why I haven't sent your Christmas gift yet. I'll be sending that at the end of this month. There always seems to be something that comes up, preventing me from sending it out, but I'm making it a top priority now. Have I mentioned that I love your videos? Keep up the good work 👏

Jusst FYI, instead of a flame, you can also use a mist bottle with just rubbing alcohol in it. Spraying it on top also removes all the bubbles and has zero efect on the resin as it evaperates so fast and you dson't run the risk of burning the resin, burning/melting the mold... or setting anything on fire. You know some pigments you use in resin are flamable? I learned that the hard way! I use to use a long neck lighter to pop bubbles on my resin until one of them turned into a candle and I opted to go NOPE. Alcohol it is!

I am also epileptic and then had a traumatic brain injury that I am still recovering from. I stutter, my hands shake, I say the wrong words, but some can be fixed in editing (which I barely know anything about) and some I let go. The only way to start is to start! Don't wait to be perfect. Just go! Share! Be brave! It's good therapy too. Btw...I do it all with my phone and free software too.
