The dress lamp is lovely, and the body lamp looks like a woman made of stars in the universe. I wish you had a smaller body mold for it, since it got to large and distorted in the resin dome.
Found this video thanks to RUclips recommendations and I gotta say, your personality is wonderful!! I am definitely a fan 🥰 the moment you said “squidgy widgy” I knew I needed to hit the subscribe button, & seeing how gorgeous these turned out just confirmed I need to watch more. I love experimenting myself, so seeing you use molds not *quite* as intended is so cool!!
I have to say that you are the resin King, Steve! You do so much and get every bit of use out of your resin that it's possible to get! I like that about you. And I have to say that the prom dress in the dome came out beautifully. You create such awesome things. I love your channel!
I'll be doing this with flowers from my sister's funeral. For bigger flowers I'm using my large pyramid mold. She died unexpectedly from a massive stroke due to covid. I've paid my niece a nice chunk of money to help with all the costs. That's why I haven't sent your Christmas gift yet. I'll be sending that at the end of this month. There always seems to be something that comes up, preventing me from sending it out, but I'm making it a top priority now. Have I mentioned that I love your videos? Keep up the good work 👏
I love watching your videos because you offer so much variety and out of the box ideas! I am still dipping my toes into resin, so I am not a daredevil yet, I love these projects. There are so many possibilities you could do! Thanks for sharing
I watched the lady from “pouring your heart out” use a paint pen on her resin mold. I thought for sure it wouldn’t work and would stain the mold or ruin it. I couldn’t believe how well it worked! Could you try some ideas using a paint pen? Her projects are really big and I like the smaller projects you do.
I was going to let you know Steve did one about a year ago, but I see Steve beat me to it, lol. I absolutely love that channel - she’s such a delight. I actually found Steve through one of her videos where she mentioned him & how much it helps to have other resin artists also testing products & techniques. (I don’t remember which one it is, but she does definitely mention Steve’s channel along with a couple others).
@@jomerrick33 I was thinking about aiding your link request and realized I wasn't sure which comment it was relating to. One you can find by simply entering 'pour your heart out resin' into YT search or on google, the other with Steve's link, just go to YT search and enter 'using paint in resin molds' and it will list several of Steve's videos specific to that and many other artists teaching it, too. Hope this helps.
Great video. Very interesting! I may have to get that dome mold. That's a great mold to have. I like the dress mold a lot. You have some very unique molds.
Thank you for an informative and beautiful demo. If I was interested in doing resin craft I would use your techniques. The domes are two different types of lovely.
I think I wouldn't mind having a real dress that looked like your art piece 😄 so gorgeous 😍 lol that was very interesting. Absolutely loved it great idea
New person here to your channel. I watched a few before and like you stuff. New to this Type of crafting. Any idea on how a beginner should start out please? Also how did you start out yourself in crafting?
You have links in your description but I only found the link to the website with many resins, what one was the exact resin you used that produced very minimal bubbles like this?
I have to make all my molds.. But I've got so many videos in my cloud that I don't upload, because it is hard for me to explain how o and that works cuz of my seizure disorder.. But iI'm trying to get my channel together, but solo Artista, no family or anything, on a budget of 800$ us, but ill be Igniting it up..I love it very cool
I am also epileptic and then had a traumatic brain injury that I am still recovering from. I stutter, my hands shake, I say the wrong words, but some can be fixed in editing (which I barely know anything about) and some I let go. The only way to start is to start! Don't wait to be perfect. Just go! Share! Be brave! It's good therapy too. Btw...I do it all with my phone and free software too.
Jusst FYI, instead of a flame, you can also use a mist bottle with just rubbing alcohol in it. Spraying it on top also removes all the bubbles and has zero efect on the resin as it evaperates so fast and you dson't run the risk of burning the resin, burning/melting the mold... or setting anything on fire. You know some pigments you use in resin are flamable? I learned that the hard way! I use to use a long neck lighter to pop bubbles on my resin until one of them turned into a candle and I opted to go NOPE. Alcohol it is!
Love the way you chuckle at yourself when you stumble tiny bit. Just darling. You sharing your art videos with us is much appreciated.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that dress lamp… the body bust is a bit weird… but still looks good… you are so creative Steve… I just love watching you work!!!!!
The pearly-dress one looks wonderful. The other one is a little distorted and I think may have looked better in a cube or rectangular prism mold.

I love how you teach us to think outside the box with our molds. Love the dress light.
Wow, the wedding-dress looks really beautiful and the the top and the skirt flow together wonderfully !!!
I do enjoy watching you craft. Thanks for sharing.
Wow!! SO PRETTY. Love the idea of using the inside part of the dome mold as a standalone mold!!!
Ringy-dingy👍👍🔔🔔🦋🦋
I like them both. Very cool!
I love watching your videos because you offer so much variety and out of the box ideas!

Great video. Very interesting! I may have to get that dome mold. That's a great mold to have. I like the dress mold a lot. You have some very unique molds.
I love the dress one, that is gorgeous!
I love all the ways of using this mold! I love to repurpose things, and I love how you think outside the box! 💯💯💯💚💚💚
Awesome steve McDonald
The dress one reminds me of some sort of Gothic decor, idk if Gothic is the correct description, but it's really interesting and beautiful!
Nice looking

I love the one with the dress.
Very interesting results! They turned out great! Thank you Steve!!
Such a cool idea!
Amazing

Lowering the tiny blue lass into the mold... getting some 007 Villain vibes! Lol
Blue tac is a great idea i always use leftover pieces of polymer clay
Love the dress. I think the body would look perfect with out the dome. Love you're channel.
Nice
HI Steve, A big 👍 up to you. you used your molds in a different way & I thought the end results are Just Puka looking good on you 👍✨ Lin
Absolutely LOVE the dress one. Such a great idea for a unique use of those molds! Love it!

Nice 👍🏻🤩💕
Gorjuss Steve ❤️
What is spray you used in the first? And why?
You have links in your description but I only found the link to the website with many resins, what one was the exact resin you used that produced very minimal bubbles like this?
Do you have a shop where you sell the items you make?
What silicone spray do you use
Still using paintbrush to apply pigments Steve? You really should try to make up sponge. Game changer. Same for glitter.
Ooh names on the right for a change! 🤣
You could use hot glue as an alternative to blue tack.
Can you try one using a face mold?
Please explain where the join button is I can not find it
"Just tap that out gently..."
I think we have different definitions for "gently" 😂
coming soon to a thrift store near you. :P
i cant see description~?
Are there any no toxic products? If so were can I purchase the product?

TY for the uplifting comments!!
I SUBBED.. Can't wait to see what all you have. TY
Tap that out gently!
- BAM BAM BAM 💥
@1:18 gently lol
I thought you were adding a brush in the thumbnail.

A pencil eraser removes blue tack as well
I use car polish to polish my finished resins, and it works great. Not sure if it has been tried before by anybody, haven’t heard it mentioned before?
Waooooooo nice to know that someone uses that too....I do
I've used it too 😂😂😂
Just tap that out gently, then bang! Bang!
Been doing this for months.
WHAM*WHAM* tap them out gently.
...bro!?!
You love glitter…. Go figure. “Squidgie-widgie” yup.
Very interesting 😂 reminds me of that Christmas movie with the leg 🦵lamp. I can't think of what it's called.
