3:20 Slight correction: you can use your own chopsticks to pick up food that are easily separable and you do not intend to share a single piece (e.g. a fried chicken wing, a bun) but you must make sure you don't touch another piece, so the chopsticks skills come to play. You can use the back of your chopsticks to pick them up but I'd say it's overly polite, it adds unnecessary pressure on others to follow suit. However, you must use the back of the chopsticks if you're picking up such food for someone else, especially elderly who find it hard to reach for certain plates.

Another very important etiquette worth mentioning is to never ever put elbows on the table, only the forearms at most. I think this is probably common in other cultures as well.

A bowl of rice is only mandatory in Southern China. Many provinces in the north (and especially North West) don’t even have rice as an option at local restaurants.

Seating, serving and taking care of the bill etiquette are incredibly similar to the Italian one. So much different in countries like Germany or USA.

My mom was at a huge business dinner many years ago and told me the Chinese clients where slurping, burping and generally being very noisy, which they explained as being a sign of appreciation for the food and compliments to the chef. I believed this for many years, but after seeing this video, i realized they were just really fucking rude

I mean, you don't only eat rice in one meal. And there's a lot of things you can make or buy later if you get hungry. Not all people eat too much in a single meal.

There is nothing worse than embarrassing yourself at a dinner party... even stepping on a landmine. How about embarrassing yourself at a dinner party by accidentally stepping on a landmine and getting shrapnel, blood and bone fragments all over the food?

I do half-a-point wrong in practically all-area.sss but i am not from china. not to be copied. Most people cannot pull-it-off. Self, is the crux of the matter. Not-genuine is funny. Get real. Be real. Be realistic.
