Tea Boy and Tea Boy in Training from Brew at 2 have made it to the second of the 2021 Blackpool World Firework Championships. Including an interview with the lovely Hayley, a look around the Illuminations village at Festival Headland, and Fireworks from Ireland. Filmed on 25.9.21

A truly magnificent exposition of a splendid event. Hayley is a gloriously bubbly personality - I would pay good money to attend a Brew At Two with Hayley, Jane and Chrissie hosting!
Kevin is a a natural at the interview technique and yes, an interview is basically a chat rather than a debate with two interlocuters.
We had a superb taste of the atmosphere on the promenade and I could almost smell the hot dogs and burgers! The walk through of the crystal globes was a treat I had not expected and the happiness of the people there was wonderful to behold. I would have preferred to see smiling eyes above masks rather than uncovered vulnerable faces but the people here will have lovely memories during lockdown of course.
What a show the Irish competitors put on and we were treated not just to a flavour of the event but the whole thing from start to finish!
Thank you very much Kevin and Derek. I know Derek shall have captured some terrific images on his camera, no doubt destined for one of the VFC websites.

The stars aligned for this epic VFC presentation… Well done Tea boy & Tea boy in training for as usual a very informative and entertaining glimpse into this very popular event. The illuminations and fabulous fireworks display are sure to brighten up everyone’s day and once again remind those former residents now living thousands of miles away in Canada, just what a special place the Fylde coast is. The boys done good as a sports pundit might say. I dont know if I could cope with the crowds ,I could feel my heart going the other day when I got a train and about 30 people built up on the platform how things have changed.
