Bro I had bought every pack until HS Years came out, had every single sims game and spin off as a kid, and then had to switch from console to PC. I was heartbroken to have no way to transfer my purchased packs, but Anadius has been a life saver. Good tutorial!!
I stumbled unto this video about a week ago and admittedly I was extremely hesitant about trying this. But, I followed your steps and thankfully didn't pickup a virus and the game appears to be working great with the exception of all the issues with the latest addition. The only thing that remains is to see what happens when the game patches to see what happens. I did want to thank you in advance for posting this video.
I was hesitant too, I toyed with the idea for like 3 days before I finally gave in because I REALLY wanted 'For Rent' and can't afford to buy them like that. I usually have to wait until they're on sale and I can get impatient, lol.
@@Astra-Moon I'm really leery about trying this. But, if YOU GUYS are doing this - without "too much hassle" - maybe _I_ should try it as well. I just have one question tho... I'm ASSUMING that by unlocking the new pack (lovestruck), you WON'T GET the digital stuff like you would IF you actually physically bought the game?
Also the game is more like $1,200ish not $1,600. Oops but still expensive. And yes I have also bought dlcs and spent money on the sims! You don’t need to do this for every dlc. Some people have brought up concerns about being banned, I have done some research and it is possible to be banned BUT from what I found, it is very rare. So with that being said some people recommend using a new EA account or an account you don’t care about. In the past I have never been banned from doing this. Also if anyone in the comment section is going to slander/bully me or any of my viewers/commenters you will be immediately blocked. My RUclips is a safe space and I will not put up will bullies towards anyone period.

Things i learned about this stuff: 1) If you uninstall Sims4 the stuff will still be available on it when you download it again, as long the Sims4 folder is not deleted. 2) If you installed all stuff you wont be able to get the menu box to (un)check the Gamepacks which u want to install. 3) The (Un)Check Boxes appear back when there´s new game/extension/stuff/kit pack available to be downloaded. 4) Don´t play the cracked game if you already own Sims4 on your account. 5) My Laptop had updates & Sims4 as well, but it didn´t remove the stuff i installed to sims4 as you mentioned in video. (Im still unsure about functions how tha stuff work) If im wrong about something feel free to correct me, im quite unsure about some stuff too.

I followed all the instructions but when I tap “setup” it shows “Fatal Error: EA Desktop/origin not found, reinstall one of them” I’m so confused, what do I do?
Help it says that I don’t have enough space on the c driver, while I have a lot of space in data (d) drive but I don’t know what to do. I reset my pc so I could download but the windows (c) drive takes 45 gb while to download expansions needs 40.7 gb.
This video is amazing but i am running into a problem. When i press the set up button its not working, for reference im on a macbook and it is telling me there is no application set to open the document “setup.bat”. I dont know what to do. Any advice would help
@@deviIish you go through the same process on mac. Download the the updater and those two other runners, the one where you press 1 2 ect. it took me so many attempts and i was super frustrated. I can try to help you out though if ur looking for mac
I prefer 7-Zip over WinRAR simply because it provides the same functionality and isn't a "infinite free trial" software that reminds you to pay to use it. That being said, Windows 11 does allow you to open .7z files without any third-party software, but there are some archives that Windows cannot open for some reason which 7-Zip can.

Hi! Thank you so much for this! When you say to create a new EA account to avoid getting banned, can you tell me what this means? Will I have to download the base game again to the new account? Will I lose the packs I've already purchased? Or will I lose my saves?
@@virgogem1111 sorry I just saw this comment, no you can keep the same sims downloaded just sign out of your ea then when you sign back in just hit sign up or create account.

Hi! I have done all the steps u have told me too but when i went into the dlc updater when everything was installed it says “dlc unlocker status not installed (game config missing)” i dont know what to do ive tried every youtube tutorial and this keeps happening
I know you’re busy responding to everyone but I also have a question. I did everything correctly and I opened the game and it’s not showing that I have any of the packs installed or anything. It’s telling me to purchase them on the Home Screen like normal. It looks like how my game looked before I did this. I’m rechecking my steps and I have done everything correctly only thing that seems different is that it said I didn’t have the base game installed which I did and it asked me to download it before it let me download the packs. I’d appreciate any help and ofc no rush I’m very thankful for this video. 🙂
Ok I do have one tiny problem. I went to go check the other worlds and non of them are shown as downloaded but there’s no sign that they’re downloading even though all the items are usable now in game and working correctly.
@@ayanna9403 really? That’s a new one. Maybe try reinstalling the game if you need to. You would just have to reinstall everything which would suck. Or you can try checking for corrupt files in steam or ea

First of all, thanks for this video, although unfortunately I found it after another more confusing one and I need some help ;v; After installing the DLCs, I opened the cracked game, because it wasn't clear if playing with the original game would have blown the entire installation. Watching your video I understood the error. Now if I open the normal game the DLCs are there, but it lags a lot, both the loading and the music, which it didn't do before. I fear that the two versions have ended up in conflict. To restore the game to its original state do I have to reinstall all the DLCs? What do you recommend I do?
@@ClearMask hm, you can try redoing the dlc unlocker then. Maybe try uninstalling the unlockers and updated if you need to and redo everything. Or maybe the game is just running poorly atm.
thank for the great vid... question: when the new lovestruck dlc is released would i be able to add it additionally by itself? or would i need to add all DLCs again?
2 Questions for people who do use this: 1. Can we still use CC and Gallery etc based around the packs the way we normally would? 2. If I buy and download a pack that I "already have" via this method, can I do that? PS: This is the perfect thing for someone like me who can't afford the packs right away but does want to get them legitimately.
@@Astra-Moon I wouldn’t download packs you already have downloaded, it could cause issues with the game. And yes I use cc and mods just like you normally would.
@@lexybb2061 Can we delete it somehow to buy what we want and then re-install it? I only planned on doing this until I could afford to buy the more expensive packs (in this case, namely; For Rent and Love Struck)

@@SammiRae-v6f are you using origin, EA or steam. I’ve gotten this error before as well. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app and made sure it was up to date then redid the updated and dlc unlocker.

@@natamanatee few people have mentioned this, I still have not looked into it. You could try the other link but be careful considering gofile was the easiest option.

Every time there is an update on the computer one has to reinstall all the packs? Like the game is uninstalled? Are the regular patches downloaded as usual from the EA app?
I followed every step exactly! It did work, but It doesn't let me use them in game play. It says I own all the packs, But doesn't give the options in actual game play. I got frustrated after trying to fix it and just deleted all files. Including all of my game play history which wiped it completely clean.. :'( But it still says I own all of the packs! I don't know how to just undo what I did! I shouldn't have tried in the first place, because I'm not super computer savvy, but I did it anyways. PLEASE HELP! :'(
I want to download this but I had a question, If you already had a few packs and after downloading this mod you decide to delite it, did you still will have that packs what you have before?
@@iMortalVibezZ I’m going to do a video on this when my pc needs an update because this is a common question. Just redo the updated and dlc unlocker and you’re good.
After the packs was downloaded, it said critical error! When I open the game, it says packs are downloading and it's been more than 2 days now and am still unable to access the packs!!
@@lexybb2061 tried again after erasing all the stuff, i even reinstalled sims 4 and followed all the steps! Still unlucky, the critical error keeps popping out ~ even after i open the sims 4, it says the world is not installed.
@@dracky3006 huh I’m sorry. It usually works just fine I know there are some RUclipsrs who do videos on how to fix anadius errors. You may be able to look it up how to fix it.

Is this safe to install without getting caught? For safety i will use VPN and change the vpn country. And my account can‘t be banned if i play offline, right?
@@lisa4471 I mean your using a vpn and playing offline, I would say that’s pretty safe because people rarely get banned as is. But if you want to be extra safe about it, just use a different account.
Can someone honestly tell me if this works, I've been looking for an hour and only keep finding scams, even ones that looked legit my antivirus is flagging, pls someone help 😭
@@kendraakame1589 sooo from what I read is yes you can but it’s pretty rare. Some people suggest using a different EA account to be safe. Honestly when I did this in the past I was never banned so 🤷♀️.
Is this illegal? Becuase ive been wanting this but ive heard around that its a virus illegal and you can get your account banned so im not sure now.please explain im confused Thank you. Also do you use this on ur main sims account or an alt ?
@@RosieTheFrenchie no one has ever gotten in legal trouble for using anadius but you can get banned although rare, so if you are worried about it then you can use a different account.
@@Etx-Qwan I think it's because I have an older version of windows, I'm not sure I just can't install it, I go though all the things you need to accept and then click done but then after that it still won't install, I try multiple times but still won't install
@@SilkeMalinda this can happen if you’re downloading the wrong winrar for the version of windows you have. When you go to the download site it will ask which version of windows and make sure you’re selecting the correct one.

@@PrissysWorld I also kept my anti virus active with no trouble. I have not been in the game to see if I have the digital stuff though, I'm sorry.

Unfortunatley .bat files arent compatible with mac os.

@@ClearMask usually lag indicates a out of date mod.
@@lexybb2061 I removed all the mods to be safe and the situation remained the same 😔

YOu can download LoveStruck by itself, and others will still be in game if u already once installed them

@@SammiRae-v6f no I’ve used steam before it will work but you still need the EA app dowloaded. It’s dumb but sims needs both to run.

The gofile link for ea doesnt work for me. When I click on it all it says is folder not found-

Hi! Everytime i try to donwload the EA unblocker, it doesn't download as a compressed file. Only as a normal file and idk how to fix it 😭, any tips?
@@cc2314 it does that for me to now, just unzip it like normal even though it “looks” like a normal file. Then it should work.

I was wondering, if i download only some extensions, can i later download more or do i have to uninstall everything and then redo it?
Every time there is an update on the computer one has to reinstall all the packs? Like the game is uninstalled? Are the regular patches downloaded as usual from the EA app?
@@Stella88Iris so the game stays installed but the dlcs will uninstall so you have to go back and do the dlc unlocker again. Hope that makes sense.
Next time my pc has a windows update I can do a tutorial on how to get all the packs to work again!

I followed every step exactly! It did work, but It doesn't let me use them in game play. It says I own all the packs, But doesn't give the options in actual game play. I got frustrated after trying to fix it and just deleted all files. Including all of my game play history which wiped it completely clean.. :'( But it still says I own all of the packs! I don't know how to just undo what I did! I shouldn't have tried in the first place, because I'm not super computer savvy, but I did it anyways. PLEASE HELP! :'(
@@summerhatfield2993 when it says you own all the packs but they aren’t in the game that means you need to do the dlc unlocker
I want to download this but I had a question, If you already had a few packs and after downloading this mod you decide to delite it, did you still will have that packs what you have before?

After the packs was downloaded, it said critical error! When I open the game, it says packs are downloading and it's been more than 2 days now and am still unable to access the packs!!
@@dracky3006 okay sounds like a step was missed or done incorrectly. I would probably try deleting everything and starting from scratch
@@lexybb2061 tried again after erasing all the stuff, i even reinstalled sims 4 and followed all the steps! Still unlucky, the critical error keeps popping out ~ even after i open the sims 4, it says the world is not installed.
@@dracky3006 huh I’m sorry. It usually works just fine I know there are some RUclipsrs who do videos on how to fix anadius errors. You may be able to look it up how to fix it.

@@lisa4471 I mean your using a vpn and playing offline, I would say that’s pretty safe because people rarely get banned as is. But if you want to be extra safe about it, just use a different account.

@@kendraakame1589 sooo from what I read is yes you can but it’s pretty rare. Some people suggest using a different EA account to be safe. Honestly when I did this in the past I was never banned so 🤷♀️.

@@RosieTheFrenchie no one has ever gotten in legal trouble for using anadius but you can get banned although rare, so if you are worried about it then you can use a different account.

This was after the Lovestruck update, it messed everyones up. Do you maybe have the more traits mod? I had to delete that
So do have i the dlc permanent? Or do i have to repeat it again sometime ?
@@sabapoland anytime your computer has an update you have to do the unlocked and updated again but your progress will be saved

@@Etx-Qwan I think it's because I have an older version of windows, I'm not sure I just can't install it, I go though all the things you need to accept and then click done but then after that it still won't install, I try multiple times but still won't install
@@SilkeMalinda this can happen if you’re downloading the wrong winrar for the version of windows you have. When you go to the download site it will ask which version of windows and make sure you’re selecting the correct one.
