Hi Erik, sounding great on the EG "Cool"! I want to briefly mention the brace on the Mark VI neck....and my assumption that this feature was part of pull-down repair. 🤔
@loutwo5099 that's correct. Long before I owned the horn. As well two sizeable brass patches on either side of the neck, it was in all likelihood nearly destroyed, however the repair was done very nicely and the neck plays great, better than most aftermarket ones I've tried. The horn used to belong to Gene walker a well known tenor player in the Columbus area who passed sometime ago.
