I hear the lack of PCCF stock has been dut to Prusas carbon fiber supplier delaying shipments to them 3 times due to the supplier moving locations. Joeseph replies to a comment on Reddit that that the PCCF should be in stock soon and does not expect any future stocking issues going forward. Just orderd a roll out of Australia for $84 just so I had one roll to test in the mean time.
I was lucky enough to grab a spool on the Prusa website one day, I saw it was available and jumped on it. Haven't seen it in stock again since. So im using the roll super sparingly. It's pretty good material I must say.
I just managed to snag a roll after missing it several times. I put myself on email notifications for it. They usually go back in stock early in the morning around 4am EST. They sell out usually within the day, but they did restock twice within this past week, so maybe they are having more production runs lately lol
Learned a lot from your video. Thanks!! When printing small parts in filament that warps a lot, I often go with a raft rather than a brim. It supports the part in all the necessary place and allows it to cool more slowly and uniformly.
Use a garolite build plate and run it cold for nylonx. Cover your printer, and make sure its been dried overnight prior to printing. I had the same issue prior to the cold garolite plate

Who did you rob to get the Prusament Carbon Fiber Polycarbonate? I never see it available and I really want to test it.

Thanks for watching! - Yeah, some parts are just more fickle than others.

Yeah, I have been looking for a garolite sheet for my Prusa Mk3s+ but I haven't found one in stock last i checked.
@@mattmakenfix9411 look up g10 same thing as garolite. Pretty cheap too as it's used for knife making, printed circuit boards etc.
Have you had any experience with PEEK or PEKK filament?
No, I don't have a printer that can print that hot
Great vid just started experimenting in PA-CF getting some great parts out of that - love to try PC-CF next!!
Great to hear!
