Today I am showing you ALL of the rose perfumes in my collection! 😃 I’ll be drawing comparisons between them, as well as revisiting and retesting some rose perfume samples that I once hated. Has my opinion on them changed now that I have fallen in love with rose? 🤔 (Yes it’s true.. at the beginning of my fragrance journey I did not like the note of rose at all.) 😬 🤫

**Important UPDATE!! 😆 ..it is the morning after I posted this video, and I am giving Elizabeth and James Nirvana Rose a full wear test.. and if I thought Gris Dior smelled like liniment, I had another thing coming with Nirvana Rose! I smell so much like spicy muscle rub I feel like a walking eucalyptus plant! It just goes to show you that you need to wear a perfume and smell it in the air, not just up close on your skin! 😅 Sidenote: I have Nirvana White on one hand and I do NOT hate it after all! Just a reminder that our noses are always developing and changing, and perfumes can be strongly affected by anything from the weather on a given day to ..well, you name it!
** Very Important UPDATE - Retesting Stella and today, I am getting zero baloney, just a nice warm and sweet rose. I think that sample has been sitting in my drawer for so long, that once the air hit it the other day it came back alive! 😅
Update #3:
I have now compared Michael Kors Starlight Shimmer side by side with Kayali Rose Oud, and upon first spray, Starlight Shimmer is a little bit more sweet and vanillic, whereas Rose Oud is a little bit more woody and herbal. But within 30 minutes, and continuing for the rest of the wear time, they are actually stunningly similar! 🖤🖤

Stella was my signature scent for over 20 years… I’m surprised I smelled like wax on baloney! 😂😂😂 Rose was my life 3 years ago. I still love rose but different ones now… Dom Rosa, Gris Dior, Ormonde Jayne Damask Rose and Musc Noir Rose being some of my favorites.

Hey T-Rox 🌹 I do own several of the ones you mentioned and enjoy Atomic Rose too. But still not completely certain how I feel about rose 🤷🏼♀️ and it’s not something I reach for often. Dump some coffee on that rose and I’m on board! 👍🏻 Baloney Stella 🥪 was my signature for several years back in the day 🤣 Gris Dior is the epitome of class in my book. Ever sniffed Roses Berberanza? It’s a weird one, I have a decant…like a cheesy rose 🧀🤮

Jill!! I have to tell you, that I retested Stella again this morning and it’s now more of a warm and softly sweet rose, I even updated the description box because I was so pleasantly surprised! There’s just no accounting for our ever-changing noses!! 😅😂

My rose 🌹 loving journey started when I recieved a sample of Elizabethan rose and that’s because it’s a green authentic rose smell IMO
It definitely has a greenness to it - I love knowing which perfume started the rose love for you! 💕

For Delina my favorite is La Rose it’s perfect for the Florida weather where I live. I wonder if you would like that one better
I’m actually heading to Florida for vacation soon!! I’m going to try to get into a store that carries PDM perfumes and I’ll make sure to sniff that one! 💗💗💗
7 virtues works great on my skin. I have not tried the one you tested though. I love their vanillas and also the cherry and the coconut one. I want to try their new one
You know what? Now that you mention it I actually do like Coconut Sun! I totally forgot about that one! But vanilla woods is one of my least liked ever and the whole discovery set was a bust 😆 Lol 🤪

Ohhh liis I do like Bo and Rose Struck is gorgeous but on the light side. Does not last long on me either sadly so I won’t spend the money on the full bottle but it is gorgeous
I think most people really loved Bo! I am probably the odd man out on that one 😅 I didn’t do a wear test, but I can imagine Rose Struck wouldn’t have the best performance, it’s fresh and pretty but very light :)

I think I prefer syrupy incensey rose or a drier spicier rose, even with geranium. Fresh is something I've tried with but I still don't love.
Those types sound really beautiful too! Omg rose and geranium go so well together! Have you ever tried the Kayali Elixir 11? I’m not sure that I really love it (yet) but it does have a dry incensey spicy feeling, at least to me 😊

Rose has always been a massive love. I recently revisited lextase rose absolue in a major way 😂 literally wearing it for weeks at a time 🤦♀️

Yes I’ve been a little obsessed with that one too! I’m layering it over so many other scents to give it the rose touch 😉 I’ve actually never smelled oud silk mood, is it less sweet than the satin? If so, maybe it would be more similar!

In my begin journey i did not like it at all, but now its changing.😊With rose it depends what its combined with, i definitely gonna try Peregrina Thameen sounds very good. I did not know that some rose scents could smell like beer.🍺😅Dont worry about it, for me you do smell like a beautiful rose garden!😉🌹
Hi my friend!! 😍💞 Yes rose is definitely a note that takes time to get used to! Maybe try a sample of Peregrina, it is definitely not shy on the rose note! But if you’ve ever tried Mancera Roses Vanille, that will give you a good idea of whether you would like it or not! 😊 Yes I finally understood the beer comparison when I smelled that Pinrose one!! 😆😅 Aww thanks so much Jas.. Ok spray on a heavy dose of a rose perfume and walk past Ryan two or three times carrying his fave beer to acclimate him to the smell- he’ll get used to rose perfumes soon enough!! 😃😃😉😅
Gris Dior is not for me either. Total vintage vibes, and too earthy/mossy.
