Thanks for watching folks! Do you think that PD's interpretation looks better than the OG??? Please let know what you think of this one in the comments. Cheers!
So I made a watch resolution of buying less watches but buying more expensive watches this year, and PD does this and tells me where I can put my resolution. That black one with the red accents is my favorite. Looking forward to the full review. And yes I think this does look nicer than the Patek. 😮
Definitely, this one and the PD1782 ruclips.net/video/ziv3d3manvw/видео.html I recently unboxed are stunners! Thanks for watching mate, I appreciate your support!!
Man, I am really tempted to get this one. Pagani has come a long way and I am very impressed to see that they made improvements to the original that they are homaging. I see so many homages that are really just copies of what they are homaging so it is really boring. The price and the finish is shockingly compelling.
If the calendar window was on 6 o’clock the watch would look better. But it’s a nice watch anyway. It’s good to see something different then all the Omegas and Rolex homages. The best thing from Pagani is the diversity of the collection. They have everything. Nice video BTW.
Wow, i received the watch today:) It looks so good in person:) Looks like a watch worth 250-300 dollars or even more.. Blueish and greenish colors, polished rings inside the dial like you say.. Slightly domed sapphire crystal and i can assure it has an AR coating too. Perfect alignment.. Very affordable price.. A better looking homage of a very expensive watch:) 100 meters water resistance .. :)
That's a lovely piece. Hard to believe its so cheap with the specs. Noticed the strap was a bit short, think I'd have to buy one to fit my 8.5 inch wrist. Thanks for the review! 👍
Cheers! You're right, the strap IS a bit on the short side. According to measurements the biggest it would go up to would be 7.5" and that's at a push. Smallest is about 6.25". Thanks for watching!!
The empty space to the right of the date cutout is tearing my heart to pieces... until I remember I paid $63 for the watch (total, including all taxes and free delivery). However, the rest of the dial is so beautiful, I would gladly pay double (another $60) if Pagani stuck a small square hour marker there, finished the same way as other indices. Maybe I would even pay another $100!!! I am still happy I bought it. But it's a struggle not to stare at that empty space. What a wasted opportunity to produce a PERFECT, BEAUTIFUL WATCH 😫😭
Glad to hear that you're happy overall, even though you wish the date window looked better. It's much better than the Berny version though, their date window cuts into the inner chapter ring! Thanks for watching 👍👍
After watching this review, i've decided to buy this watch from your link. I looked at the OG and could easily agree with you that the PD looks even better than the OG:)
I bought the blue off of Amazon, $119. Idc about the money, it'll be here Friday and I have great CS, in case I ever need it. I'm truly smitten by it, though. Thx for the review.
Great review . Very nice looking watch . I have a Bulova which has mineral crystal and water resistance doesn't match this , at 3 times the price . Great looks and specs
Very nice looking watch. All all 3 dial colors and combinations are fantastic. I could never afford the original so this/would be a great purchase for me if I wanted the look without selling a kidney to get the look of the original. Good stuff. Cheers! ,.
As of late, Pagani Design, IMO, have stepped up their game while not jacking up their prices. Pagani's new releases are very impressive for their value. This watch is no exception. Very nice watch, nice review.
This is a very classy looking watch for Pagani. I wish they would lose the word _DESIGN_ from their dials and branding 😂. Have seen some people using Isopropyl Alcohol to remove undesirable branding from watch faces which I have not tried yet. The person removing branding was working on an AddiesDive watch which is understandable. They should all go with an applied Logo as San Martin do. Pagani already have a nice logo design which they could use on its own. Tandorio have the sense to offer most of their watches with a Sterile dial, nobody wants to be reminded of curry as they check the time 😂.
Wow, just an awesome watch by PD!!! Love the overall design, dial textures, specs, and for an unbelievably low price. Simply fantastic. Thank you, Al, for sharing. PS, my only gripe is that you're making it so hard to maintain my no watch purchases this year commitment to my wife 🤣😂

@@TimeForAnotherWatch Brilliant 👏 I may just have to start my own watch review channel ... RBJ's Watch Reviews ... 🤣😂 Have a wonderful weekend my friend 👍
The watch looks more green than blue to my eyes, it is indeed a very nice looking watch. Yes, it resembles the OG at a glance but it is also very different. Certainly not a photo-copy design.
I've held and worn multiple $20k + watches and I just don't get it. Maybe it was worth it for the craftsmanship before the 90's, but modern production is far too advanced to consider anything short of rare metal construction to be worth the cost. Perks of being an established luxury brand I suppose
I just bought an Aragon mystery watch. I believe it is a titanium bracelet and case, Sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, robin's egg blue dial, Miyota 9015 hi beat auto with 200 M of water resistance and a helium relief valve for $175. I guess it's a mystery box and it's shipping 2/07. Helluva bargain, you ask me.
I’d call the pattern in the centre section of the dial “checker plate” rather than carbon fibre. Looks like checker plate steel you get on tool boxes or in the trays /beds of trucks or utes as we call them in Australia
This looks to be way nicer than the Berny AM210M that I rolled the dice on and bought. I don't like it - for me. However, this PD 1778 seems to be what I was hoping the Berny would be like in real life. And, I agree, the baton indices on this watch look better than numerals.
I considered the Berny myself. There's plenty to like about it but I didn't like the way the date window cut into the inner chapter ring. Thanks for watching 👍👍
That is a nice looking watch, thanks for showing it. Personally, I would prefer the date at 6 and 38mm diameter, but credit where it is due, it looks great and I think I would even keep it on that strap 👍
Cheers! I agree that the date would have been better at 6 ... And that's where they should have put it on the OG watch as well!! Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Wow that's a Patek! If only they did good lume. I'd happily pay 20 quid more for it if they put 6 coats of Super luminova or something. Oh well. Sod it I want it! Will you get commission if I go to the app from your link? It's asking if I want to.
The best design decisionn is the shrinking of the logo on the dial. The only advantage of the NH35 is literallyn t's cheapness. Inowadays prefer watches equipped with pt5000 or st2130: Nearly as cheap, just as reliable, higher beat and thinner.
Yes, good to see that the've shrunk their branding! Maybe logo only would have been even better. I'm still a fan of the NH35 but I do enjoy high beat movements as well .... & I've got my first SW200 watch on the way 😊 Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch Anything (really) Swiss like an SW200 is still superior. And pricy:) I own a few ETA' 2824's. In a sturdy case these can take a beating unlike any other I know (Seiko's break). Many of the recent 'Swiss' movements are actually Chinese Ebauches. Nothing wrong with that. Chinese have proven for a long whiile that they can produce precision watch-parts. Better than Seiko are prepared to do for their 4R and 6R movements. 4R35's are cheap, but exceedingly bad value. I bought a +1000$ Seiko with a 6R35 movement and it runs 18 seconds a day fast on my wrist. That is not acceptable. Literally ALL of my chinese watches perform better... And still i love Seiko.
Being honest with myself I am as much a strap & bracelet as watch collector. Maybe a bit neurotic, but for now at least I want to use all of those with all my watches so the 22mm lugs are holding me back. For me either no date window or a blue background date wheel plus logo on the face instead of the writing would have taken this already great looking watch to an even higher level. (If I overcome my "not 20mm phobia" I could see myself swapping that date ring for the blue background...)
I'll try! When zoomed in, any slight movement is exaggerated by the magfication. Maybe just filming them on the table might be the answer. Thanks for your support!! 👍👍
PD should use acrylic crystals instead of poorly AR-treated saphires, their lack of proper AR is really a turn off for me. Which is sad because other than that they're really good for their price in every other aspect.
At first sight this watch looks very nice and quite expensive for a Pagani. But I have to say I prefer the applied numerals of the OG. And actually I can't look past the date window look a off, not centered between the inner ring and the chapter ring. Of course they're stuck with the diameter of the NH35 date disc. So they either should have made this a no date or shrinking it down from 40 to perhaps 38.5 mm would have killed two birds with one stone.
This and the PD1782 are definitely 2 of the best from their recent models. I love the PD1782 as well, I unboxed it here ruclips.net/video/ziv3d3manvw/видео.html Thanks for watching 👍👍
I only have had one Pagani with tolerable lume that lasts a few hours. That is on their Batman NH34 GMT which is a fairly decent watch after switching the clasp to tool-less adjust.
Cheers! I've been looking at the PD1780 with the VH88 myself. I'm not sure whether to get it in for the channel. I can't make my mind up if I like it, but I'd sure be interested to try out the VH88 for the first time. Thanks for watching 👍👍
@TimeForAnotherWatch yes, the design is a bit odd but I want it because I once sold a retrograde day of the week watch once, and I want to have another one with the same complication
Just checked the OG watch and can't really make my mind..maybe a slight lean towards PD, but honestly, neither resonates with me..tries to cover both dress and casual but in the end fails in both departments..can't think of a scenario where it would be a great choice to wear..just my 2 cents😂
Very nice review:) Thanks. Can you also make a review for Cadison C8226 White? It feels like a solid watch at a good price. I'm considering to buy it but would be very happy to see it from your angle
I really, really like this watch. I really want it in the red, but as a woman with a 5.5 inch wrist there's no way I can make that happen. 😢 Totally agree that it looks better than the Og, or the homage made by Berny.
This would have been amazing if they had dropped the center section with the check pattern. Sometimes less is more. But I do like the block indicies over the numerals on the original. Well done Pagani Design.
I think they are going for that tapered look that is popular with integrated bracelets....but utilizing "leather" I must say, this is by far the best looking Pagani watch I've seen.....and thank goodness they didn't use their usual horrible logo.
I was tempted to purchase this until I discovered the 22mm lug width. On a 40mm watch, that just looks goofy. I have an Orient watch with the same dimensions, and it is not at all attractive (to me, anyway).
I think it's Aliexpress confusing the issue. The blue one looks to have sold out (it's greyed out) and that's why it can't ship to the UK...or anywhere...I just tried changing the shipping destination to other countries and it says the same thing. Thanks for watching!!
Googlin' 67A watch did not bring anything like the piece you are showing so I was left not knowing whose homage this watch is or what are you referring to in your vid.
I bought one and received less than a week ago. Was happy with it, but the NH35 is running too fast, +45 seconds a day. The fastest I ever had with the numerous NH35 I owned. Also note that the watch head was not wrapped with the usual cling film, the first one like this again from all Ali purchases. The polished bezel had some light hairline scratches as a result. Nothing major, so it was a good buy! 😊
Plus 45 seconds is very fast and outside Seiko's specs. Have you checked if it has become magnetised?? Good to hear that you're happy with it overall though!! Thanks for watching!!
@@morganstrapco I hear ya. I went as far as taking another Pagani watch apart and regulated the NH35 myself, but at the end, it was still drifting in different positions. So I took the happy medium, and I alternate the watch positions at rest to keep it in time. Despite NH35 is a workhorse, but I never had one that could be steadily kept within +/-5sec a day (I own 8 of them). Different positions could vary as much as 30 seconds apart. After calibration, I had it running without much drift on wrist during the day. But when it at rest overnight, it could go slow or fast, so I alternate the positions to minimize the difference in order to avoid having to reset time every few days. If someone could chime in with their experience, it would be nice. Thanks in advance.
@@TimeForAnotherWatch The Watch is fresh out of the box, so I hope it was not sent to me pre-magnetized. 😅 While it is running +45s fast a day at rest, it is behaving quite well on wrist, +20 or so. That's why I question the accuracy of all these NH35s. I have put a little explanation on another comment above and see if someone could share their experience. Thanks for your video, they are always great and faithful! ❤
@@bfair6284 very well said!!I I couldn’t agree with you more. I’d like to see a different movement come out that is as cheap and competes with the NH35.
The Berny dial looks more like the OG, IMHO. I was tempted by it myself but I didn't like the way that the date window cut into the inner chapter ring. Thanks for watching!!
This would really be great with the PD Shield Logo . Drop the Date and “ Automatic “ on the Dial ….. Would look magnitudes more Upscale 🫤 Good job at 22mm . Strap looks good , indeed …. 👍
It's definitely NOT one i'd buy, i think it's actually a bit hideous and looks nowhere near as nice as my PD1703. I've not seen anything better looking than the pd1703, but a few being very close......this though 🤮

"So without any delay..." Followed by channel intro and request to like and subscribe 😂
The video is split into chapters my friend, so it's easy for viewers to skip any sections. Thanks for watching 👍
Very nice review:) Thanks. Can you also make a review for Cadison C8226 White? It feels like a solid watch at a good price. I'm considering to buy it but would be very happy to see it from your angle
Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch ☺👏👏
No matter how Patek it looks, I still wanna know how to replace the text with something unique
Do they make a version with a metal strap?
No mate, just the strap. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Patek Philippe Calatrava 6007A-001 roughly 60 grand
Oh no. My wallet is crying.
Lol 😆
It’s nice but I would have expected higher quality finishing and movement for the pagani brand
IMHO the specs are pretty good for a watch that costs less than $70!! Thanks for watching 👍👍
I am itching to know what is the OG watch that this PD is homaged after
Hi, it's a loose homage to the 6007A. Thanks for watching 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch just saw it… OMG the price of the OG!!! adding the PD to the cart now
@@user-cm2pl6kj9f Hope you enjoy it!! 👍👍
I really, really like this watch. I really want it in the red, but as a woman with a 5.5 inch wrist there's no way I can make that happen. 😢 Totally agree that it looks better than the Og, or the homage made by Berny.
That's a real shame, that the size is wrong for your wrist. Thank you for watching!! 👍👍
This would have been amazing if they had dropped the center section with the check pattern. Sometimes less is more. But I do like the block indicies over the numerals on the original. Well done Pagani Design.
Do they come with Zaphire glass?
Hi, yes, I tested my watch in the video. The crystal also has an anti-reflective coating. Thanks for watching 👍👍
❤
And I’m a bit surprised by the 22mm lug width.
Me too ... but at least it's better than the 21mm on the OG 😊
@@TimeForAnotherWatch this is true
I think they are going for that tapered look that is popular with integrated bracelets....but utilizing "leather" I must say, this is by far the best looking Pagani watch I've seen.....and thank goodness they didn't use their usual horrible logo.
I was tempted to purchase this until I discovered the 22mm lug width. On a 40mm watch, that just looks goofy. I have an Orient watch with the same dimensions, and it is not at all attractive (to me, anyway).
I didn't even notice it until I looked at the back of the strap, lol. I agree though, I would have preferred 20. Thanks for watching 👍👍

I think it's Aliexpress confusing the issue. The blue one looks to have sold out (it's greyed out) and that's why it can't ship to the UK...or anywhere...I just tried changing the shipping destination to other countries and it says the same thing. Thanks for watching!!
Very Frederique Constant 🤔🤔🤔
If only their watches had a logo or initials only and not the name.
What is this a homage to??
It's a homage to the Patek 6007A but PD have made several changes to the OG design. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Googlin' 67A watch did not bring anything like the piece you are showing so I was left not knowing whose homage this watch is or what are you referring to in your vid.
It's the PP 6007A.
@@96kyh Obrigado
I bought one and received less than a week ago. Was happy with it, but the NH35 is running too fast, +45 seconds a day. The fastest I ever had with the numerous NH35 I owned. Also note that the watch head was not wrapped with the usual cling film, the first one like this again from all Ali purchases. The polished bezel had some light hairline scratches as a result. Nothing major, so it was a good buy! 😊
This is why I personally enjoy quartz. But I have had some well regulated NH movements in the past. Hit and miss
Would need to see it in hand but rounded bezel looks to fat
Nice watch, but I don’t like clear case backs.
The watch geek inside me likes looking at movements through the case back... even if it's only the NH35 😁 Thank you for watching!! 👍👍
Despite having more than enough, and being determined to buy no more.....it's ordered. 😆🙄
Lol 😂 Enjoy! Thanks for watching 👍👍
Wish it's 37mm or under
Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
Looks classy. Btw, can U just say original design rather than OG. 😅😅
Lol, quicker to say OG 😉
Idk about unique design, it reminds me of JLC polaris
I more inclined to the Berny version of it. But man that price is tempting.
The Berny dial looks more like the OG, IMHO. I was tempted by it myself but I didn't like the way that the date window cut into the inner chapter ring. Thanks for watching!!
You’re gonna get me killed, guy. I bought 3 solid cheap watches this week. I can’t have another show up to the house. Why have you done this to me.
Sorry mate, lol! 😄 Just leave it a week or 2, it'll be fine!! Thanks for watching! 👍👍
Uhh
I usually quite like Pagani design watches, but that one looks really cheesy. Not nice at all. 👎
Fair enough, it won't be everyone's cup of tea. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Oogly! Whatever watch this homaged should have stayed in the past where it belongs.
Lol 😆 Not your cup of tea, I see.
This would really be great with the PD Shield Logo .
Drop the Date and “ Automatic “ on the Dial …..
Would look magnitudes more Upscale 🫤
Good job at 22mm .
Strap looks good , indeed …. 👍
Thanks for watching 👍👍
That is a seriously ugly looking watch.😮
Not your cup of tea, I guess!! 😄 Thanks for watching 👍👍
It's definitely NOT one i'd buy, i think it's actually a bit hideous and looks nowhere near as nice as my PD1703.
I've not seen anything better looking than the pd1703, but a few being very close......this though 🤮
It's a very different watch to the PD1703. "Horses for courses", as they say. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Homage of what watch is it?
It could be seen as a homage to the PP 6007A, however PD have made several changes. Thanks for watching 👍👍
