Let's get this channel Re-booted right. You've devoted a big chunk of your life to fixing these machines, the corporation should be coming to you asking you for ideas, not crimping your style because of some obscure rulebook. I hope your new path & freedom will lead to a greater happiness. I appreciate your service to the community of Machine owners.
I agree. I have two bobcat machines and the nearest dealer to me is 700Km away. It's very expensive to take a machine there and back. One time my dad did do the trip and when he got home the machine acted up 20 minutes after he started it. He called and they said bring it back like we are just down the road. So now I like to learn and fix our own machines. I live in northern Canada where everything is far away.
Thank you so much for the support my friend. I really appreciate the kind words.
I have asked for help from this channel a couple of times and it has saved me thousands of dollars. As a small contracting company I need all the help I can get. I am not getting any help from the local bobcat company that I deal with. They want me to just keep buying new equipment every time it needs work. NOT AFFORDABLE!! I need help. It is a crime that people who can help are being punished for providing technical support to those who cannot afford the support of the very company's that should be providing repair services only because it doesn't line their pocket. We need all the help we can get.
@@kevingreen8649 Agreed. I have a Genie lift that reached what the company conveniently calls "End of Service Life" after 10 years. They already had outsourced to a 'subcontracting agency' who wanted to bill me $1000 per quarter to ask questions, but once something reaches "End of Life" this gives that subcontracting agency the go ahead to be rude and just hang up the phone if I ever called and asked for support. This is the way greedy corporations treat their customer base anymore. It's not like it once was, like the craftsman tools 'guaranteed for life'. Of course .... who's life span is that? Yours or theirs because they certainly aren't anywhere to be found. They had the audacity to sell off the name out to the highest bidder and reincarnated themselves as something else. So I am grateful for anyone who can stand between the dreaded 'planned obsoleteness' / coerced upgrades into inferior performing/lasting equipment (look at that half-baked unusable crap they rolled out at the trade shows of late) and help me to get the ROI on the equipment I was promised when I forked out the cash for it in the first place.
So happy seeing the master at work once again. As I’ve stated in other videos you have saved me on many occasions. Only thing I can say is when ur being censored/controlled ur doing something that other don’t want you doing. Truly appreciate you standing up and helping so many of us.👍

Really nice video. I feel I can tackle this project on my skid steer now.
Alway the best approach to repair this machines.
I want to thank you for all your knowledge
Where that bobtach gets worn out from the pivot pin, for mine I ended up ordering a weld on pivot pin bushing that fits that pin, then cut the hole bigger and welded the bushing in place and used a longer pin since the thickness of the bushing is twice as thick as the bobtach plate.
Thanks for the all good info as well
So glad your back. I need to do this on a old 763 with a single tilt cylinder. Would love to see how tough they are.

Hi thanks for all your help!!! Excellent videos. What is the part number for the boss?
Love the videos. Where did you get the bushings and pins. I ordered a kit but it didn’t come with the grease caps. Thanks pete
Are you going to cover what happened with the corporate stranglehold That was released from your neck.
More than likely I will when the time is right. I appreciate the support.
@@tetradgroupdid you ever cover it? Are you self employed now? Great vids
love this.. I actually have the same problem, upper pin for tilt cylinder is egg shaped.. you went with welding it and grinding back to circle, any reason you did not use one of the weldon bushings like bobcat # 7259010 to fix the hole? or is is a matter how bad its out of round?
Спасибо друг у меня сейчас такая проблема немого найти эти тулки преварные дай бог вам здоровья и благополучия
Thank you my friend
I have a T250. Any tips for pin slop at the top of the curl cylinders?
As an update, one of the upper pins at the tilt cylinder base was snapped. The upper weld on boss (base cylinder end) has some elliptical wear due to hammer from the loose pin. Because this boss is not repairable, I decided to clean the inside tapper well (wire drill brush+ metal etch cleaner I use for bodywork ) I then mixed some JB Weld and coated the inside of the boss tapper to fill in the small ware areas and lightly coated the new taper pin and so it wont stick if it ever needs to be removed. I tightened the the bolt and let it set for a week.
I ended up getting new after market, USA made tilt cylinders. I now have to remove and weld on both lower bosses because they were never installed/aligned correctly when previously replaced which caused excessive wear on one of the rod ends. Nothing like have to clean up poor repairs from others.
Congratulations on your new freedom. If you get some channel merch going I am sure that can be an extra income stream to help with the revenue loss.
Bobcat should be using you to teach their mechanics some of your skills so their services would be better they are very short sighted they had Avery good mentor for their future staff
A minha s510 nao anda nem à frente nem a trás, nao desbloqueia quando prime o botao verde, fica (P) a piscar, pode me ajudar a nessa avaria ??
7/28/23 got a 763 bobcat and bucket leaks down
I’ve replace spool valves seals cylinder seals , can the manual bypass valve cause it to leak down
@@lonnierucker475that valve can cause it to leak down. Changed mine on S300, solved the problem. Brady actually suggested I do it, and it worked
Thanks I wonder if that valve is rebuild able or just replace as one complete part

Understand you situation… boss don’t like to be contradicted… you might say the truth and they might stretch the truth to the customer … been their did that…
Glad you are back!
