I'm a devout Christian. Of course not perfect. But I've never connected with traditional, Christian worship music. It's too cheesy and on-the-nose. Listening to these guys is like worship for me. Like Moths to Flame, Hold Fast Hope, Words in the Water, Music Box, and many, many more.
This band has written some massive epics. While i'm of the generation of when they first started and have followed their career and loved everything they've done, the ones that get me the most have usually been their slower or more built up songs in the catalog, like The Long Defeat, Beyond The Pines, Anthology, and the ever epic Of Dust and Nations. I hear these songs, and i just hear act 1 set closer every night
I first heard thrice in 2003 when I just started University. I can't believe its been 13 years now and now I have a family and a kid. Yet these guys are still writing songs and quality is better than ever. Thanks Davjs for bringing back the old memories.
I got chills at least four times in this video. Best band on the planet. We gladly travel hundreds of miles to see them multiple times per tour. Don't even care if the budget is tight! Ha.
Back in 2000 when I was a junior in high school a friend was like hey you wanna go to a concert with me to go see a band called Coheed & Cambria? I was like yeah man let’s do this! Drove like 2 hours to Petaluma CA to the Phoenix Theatre. And there I had a life changing experience with a band called Thrice.
Thrice has always been one of my favorite bands and always will be. also, Dustin's vocal tone is like a fine wine. it just gets better and better with time.
I loved every minute of this.. Memories from being in my early twenties to now in my thirties. God. What a trip. Thrice has always been one of my favorite groups, this video shows why perfectly. Palms deserves recognition now as well.. Masterpiece.
If you compare deadbolt to hurricane its like a completely different band, great in their own respects either way
Artist in the Ambulance is a legendary album that needs to be put in a vault somewhere.
Great tribute to the greatest band of all time.
It's insane how much his voice changed in just about 4 years.

The long defeat is a masterpiece.
I would put Vheissu up against any other rock album ever.

I hate the fact I missed the opportunity to see this band so many times in my youth.
You gotta make a new version including “Palms” and celebrating 20 years as a band!
Helped me through my senior year of high school

before watching: "oh, I remember Thrice, they were pretty good - maybe it would be cool to hear some of their best songs again"

Great video to watch the growth of Thrice. It's amazing to see the changes in tone, writing, and emotions with each album. I love Thrice!
Been with them since late 2001. Thrice is my favorite band n always will be! ✔💯🍸
