Thanks again JJ. Always check out your circuit guides before attempting the track myself. Clear, concise and extremely appreciated. Keep up the excellent work ;-)
Thanks for the this video. Unfortunately this class has absolutely wrecked my iRating the last few days. People seem to drop it on throttle often, then pull straight back onto track. Even starting at the back isn't enough to avoid the nonsense. Back to Miatas for a while to get my iRating back up but looking forward to returning to the Ferraris once my iRating has recovered from the absolute disaster the last 4 races have been.
I'm struggling hard at this one. Last week your guide got me a 1:48 right off the bat with 1:47 being possible with practice. Reliable top 5s and even some top 3s. This one's getting me 1:33 and practice so far has only got me a 1:32.9. Which means even in bottom split i'd be mid-pack. I don't entirely know whats going on, but I think i'm hitting my brakes too hard, i'm getting slowed significantly easier than in your vid so I wonder if i'm locking up, but because the fixed setup is TC/ABS 6 6, i'm having a hard time figuring out the perfect braking point. As it's so strong that you dont feel the lockup unless you touch grass. I've tried turning up my brake bias but while it's making me more consistent it's not helping the time situation.
Thanks for this. I’ve shaved a fair chunk off where I was but seem to be plateauing at 1:32.5 so I guess that’s my talent ceiling. Are you running stock 54.1 brake balance?
I guess practice is key here, i was around .34 before I watched this video then... nothing changed really, but around 30 laps later Ive done a 31.4... thats my best so far
When you finally master watkins glen and then the week ends... lol nice
Literally how I felt lol
haha yeah it comes around fast, before you know we will be in Zolder
same lol. last day of the week i managed to get the track fully down with a 1.44.7 and here we are on a new track.. the struggle starts once again
This. Absolutely this.

weird, I always run default brake bias but maybe try braking slightly earlier and see if you can slowly start building up to speed
Thank you. Your videos are so helpful.
Appreciate it man thanks
Damn, and I thought my 1:29.6 was respectable until I saw this! Do you used irFFB? I'm new to iRacing so trying to figure everything out.
I personally do not but know a few who do, feel free to jopin the discord if you want to ask others for help :)
Keep up the good work. I look forward to your track guides
Glad you like them!
Thank you fore these much appreciated
You're very welcome
Great video! Do you add telemetry to the video or is it visible during the practice session?
You can have it visible during sessions or replays of yourself, it’s a feature on an app called race labs

You ever do any better I’m stuck at 31.3 rn

Thanks! :)
I spin out at the 75m board turn when I go full throttle at apex
Smoother on the power and less steering should help this
I am really strugling to get lower than 1:30, dunno what I'm doing that wrong
5k before the end of January? 👀
no chance haha
Let's gooooo
0.75 speed is perfect for me... thanks!
😂 so glad they have that option
how do you add those cool overlays at the bottom of dashboard?
I use SDK gaming 😊
