    Thank you for this brilliant and clear explanation of the panel. My system was checked out by the installers two days ago and the hearing hasn't worked since. The Zone was set to 'Off'. These instructions have helped solve the problem.

    thank you for the video. Im trying to establish if there is a wireless controller that doubles up for the one on the tank (as ours is in the attic, not very convenient). Also, what is the best hot water setting. Ours has been set to standard by the installation company, but we've run out of hot water a few times and wondered if changing it to 'forced' would over come that?

      you cant have 2 controllers so you need to move the controller somewhere easier to use, its just 2 low voltage wires. if you are running out of hot water check your hot water timer settings and make them more often, i did a video about timers on the channel, good luck

    Hi there, we have a Samsung heat pump with a Joule controller. We had a power cut in the area yesterday and have been unable to get any heat through any of the radiators since. The samsung unit is operating and making usual sounds etc and water still heats.... just cant heat the house. Any tips?

    Hi, I have this unit in the summer the tank was coming on once a day but for the last few nights it's coming on 4 times in 12 hours at night. Is this a fault? I'm tempted to turn the whole unit off because I'm worried about high electric costs.

    • @richardwatton9621
      @richardwatton9621 10 месяцев назад

      Same issue with mine, it seems that when the heating is off and the outdoor temp drops to around 5 degrees it starts circulating the water around the hot water tank heat exchanger to keep the heat pump warm. When the hot tank cools down, it start the heat pump which then heats the water back up. Yes it does add to the costs but I guess it is to protect the heat pump from frost (It does not know there is antifreeze in the system 😕). I don't want to turn the hot water off at night as this seems to be a safety feature.
