No drone experience here - I got the DJI Mini 2 SE (big bucks). I spent a few days learning how to fly it. All good until it hit a branch and went down into a stream - dead but luckily I got the Care Refresh plan and had it replaced for $40. Tried out the HS210 drone while I waited for the 2 se replacement. Also did a lot of training exercises for the newbee. Here is why this drone is the best for me right now - it is hard to fly - it does not hover over a spot - it drifts all over the place while hovering or moving. I had to work very hard to get it to land on the small table that I launched it from. The HS210 is making me work very hard to make a nice solid landing. the 2 SE is steady as a rock - and so if I can do things well with the HS210 - it is going to be so much easier with the steady as a rock 2 SE - learn on the "drifty" drone and you can definitely be able to control the the stable drone with real precision. I wish somebody told me.
The dji care refresh is worth it. I never buy extra warranty on products, but I did for my drones because what other electronics are flying in the air and can be attacked by birds or blown by wind gusts etc. I have a few other holystone drones I've wanted to do reviews on top but haven't gotten around to it.
These are no doubt the best drones to start out with as a beginner. I highly recommend these for those who want to learn the basics of drone flight. Excellent review. 👏🏻
The HS-210 is a fun little drone to fly but they don't hold up very well for long. Owned 2 of them and the circuit boards in both failed at about the same duration of usage. Bought the HS-210F and the circuit board failed in that one too, Holy Stone replaced it and after a week of flying it started acting up as well. Holy Stone does have great customer service and it is very much needed with these mini drones
I have a Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro, and during the time you were talking flew thru one battery, timing to see how long it takes to charge! Something to play with in the house and bug the wife! Thanks!
@@integralcamerasolutionsyou are correct, the camera is "about what you'd expect" . think i got it for like $45 or less last year. it was fun, helped me learn a bit for the Tiny Hawk... next need to get this 5" enabled 😊 Fun vid 8:58 found decent neutral control there 👍🏼
I have not used that one. I have bought a couple other toy drones but I haven't gotten around to reviewing them just because of other content being higher priority. I am curious to try drones from brick and mortar stores though.

I do want to buy that one next, but I also have the HS280 I haven't even used but have had for a few weeks. Just waiting on some better weather.

How does this compare to the Voyage Aeronautics VA-2140 from Walmart?
I have not used that one. I have bought a couple other toy drones but I haven't gotten around to reviewing them just because of other content being higher priority. I am curious to try drones from brick and mortar stores though.
