I'm surprised you didn't go onto the trail at the north west corner of Don Mills and Sheppard. No cars to worry about and great scenery. It will take you up to John Street.
I've ridden this path many times.Been closed at the 401 for a couple years now for a new 4 lane bridge. Also park closed at the north/west corner of shep/leslie this has been closed for 3 years
