I would like to see him in the top-10 for points, but for that, he needs to play another season. He might even surpass Lemieux in points if he plays two more seasons with his current scoring pace.

It’s the consistency and that nhl is in their toughest era. It’s weird but think about this nba’s toughest eras were 70’s to early 2000’s, and weak was 2005 to now. While nhl’s easiest era to score goals was start to 2004. And from 2005 to now is the toughest to score goals in nhl. Let’s look at 2005 for nhl and nba. NBA LeBron comes in at 2003 for nba, and he plays for 20 years in nba has most points because it’s easier now to score baskets. In NHL 2005 Ovi and Crosby come to the league and dominate one on cup wins and assists (Crosby) one on goals and hits (Ovi) so if you combine these two in nhl you get Gretzky. To me Gretzky is goat of goats which means Ovi and Crosby are the new ones soon I can’t wait for Ovi to pass Gretzky
