Nice find, great stove. I've used these for decades. Some tips:
Follow the instructions on the bottle.
Resist the urge to bend the hose down parallel with the bottle when storing. That bend is THE number one failure mode of this system. The hose is easily replaces if you're careful removing the brass ferrules.
When set up for use, the plastic nozzle cover fits in the socket on the pump and the stove plug fits into the nozzle cover to keep from losing them, getting them dirty, or melting the nozzle cover when cooking. DO NOT LEAVE THE PLASTIC COVER NEAR THE STOVE WHILE RUNNING IT. Don't ask me how I know this. Use the storage hole.
The unique hose connection is that way to make it easy to use with gloves or mittens.
Put a little silicone grease on the plug to save the o ring in the valve.
The valve on the stove is for flame adjustment only, it is not a shutoff. Open it fully when instant lighting for fast warmup. You should be ready to cook in about 10 or 20 seconds.
These will tend to chug a bit on high. That's normal.
Like all Colemans, these like lots of pressure.
The valve on the pump should be off until ready to light and used to shut down the stove.
The little black elbow on the long tube on the pump is where the tiny fuel pickup orifice is located. This meters the fuel and allows the instant lighting feature to work. Air is taken from the top of the bottle and atomizes the fuel in the elbow. Once back pressure from fuel vaporization occurs it slows the flow and stops the air from being introduced. When the tank gets really low, you will notice the flame leaning out intermittently and may require more frequent pumping.
These will run on kerosene, Coleman(recommended) or good fresh ethanol free pump gas. You need the kerosene generator to run kerosene well and it requires a manual preheat.
When you find generators for these get them. They can be cleaned fairly easily though. Let me know if you don't know how.
    Hope this helps

@@Jon_Flys_RC nice 👍 what kind did you get. You win some you lose some I got good deals over the past two week but today I had to overpay for a lantern I really wanted.

These have non standard thread. I can't, with certainty, call it proprietary thread, but I've never seen non Coleman bottles that would fit the Apex pumps. The Apex bottles can be found on Ebay just about always. For now, at least.

@ mine is the complete 445 kit with all original accessories. If it was ever fired up it was for a hot minute just enough to soot one side of the burner.
