Lately it seems like all the lobbies I am in have extremely toxic people or people with behavioral issues. I was hoping my previous video of toxic players would be the last - unfortunately this is not the case. What would have happened if I wasn't a streamer? It is sad to think that some people get away with this type of behavior. Nonetheless, we should call them out on their bad behavior and not entertain them - the outcome is always lose-lose. The laughter in the first match feels so awkward like they want people to have fun while they insult them. Anyways, the way you handle the losing streak and toxic teammates is so nice especially since I have been dealing with that myself so thank you.

This is exactly how it is playing sentinel its just ur role thats why. Ppl always cry about ppl being toxic to bottom frag reyna but ppl are more toxic against sentinels that try to do anything except play poket sage with defensive walls. Source: i have over 600 games sage from iron to plat

My duo plays Sentinels and mainly Sage. The amount of public players being toxic to him is unbelievable 🤦🏻
This is why I love playing controller as long as I am smoking and getting my team into site I am happy.

Oh hell nah. As soon as my team starts acting like this I make it my mission to lose the game without it seeming like I'm hard throwing. They get a swift mute and the bomb starts doing weird things

mute button is a gamechanger for your personal experience, unfortunatly though communication is key in valorant.
@@bqrsti802 depends on the team tbh. Some people have useless communication aside from what you see or can infer from the minimap, and telling you exactly how to play your 1v3 clutch. In those instances I see no reason to have them unmuted 😎 I'll still comm to them, but if they aren't constructive/helpful then fukem

I hate how they treated Jollz. Those spoiled brats are the standard experience everyone gets on the daily, but man that 5:32 part says it all . Streamers/ early episode radiants are clueless on the toxicity that is Valo on ANYTHING below immortal. If u managed to rank up and get to the highest elo fast , it's a completely different game. Yeah , immo/radiant has its ''moments'' but it's mostly banter cause people are A. older most of the time B. they respect each other for the elo they accomplished .You can tell they were getting in his head , whether that's losing focus and not performing or straight up not even knowing how to respond. And if that happens to a radiant , who's just doing a smurf run , imagine an actual player on that elo ( i dont know the rank exactly ) and how discouraging it would be.

I only see it in my smurf games these days , cause my alt is sitting on plat /diamond , but oh boy is it frustrating. Muting puts you in a disadvantage though , comms is part of the game . I literally feel sorry for all the main accounts that get treated like this by 12year olds.

People sometimes forget that things they say carry on for quite some times. Like a few days ago, I played comp as Sage and apparently I planted the bomb at the wrong position, which I admit, was my mistake. My teammates proceeded to say mean and hurtful stuffs. I could hurled back at them and say the same mean things, but I held back because I didn't want to spend my energy on that kind of shits. Yet, it's been a few days passed and I still remember it sometimes.
I just ended up muting them. (Because there was no comms to begin with during the match, even though I tried since the first round to give as much as information as I can)

Yeah you dont deserve that. What people could do instead of being rude is say like " Nice try sage, a good tip could be plant here for this reason." Even if my team is upsetting me I'm nice to the people who are nice even if they make mistakes. I also defend people from toxic players.
you were still mvp basically. using comms is one of the most important (and basic) features in a TEAM EFFORT FPS. so at least you were playing the game even if you did one little mistake with your plant or whatever small thing it was.
your team should've said "u good" or encouraged you or they should have given advice, to make sure you don't get tilted and that you do good next round.
people who use comms just to be toxic are straight up bad at the game sorry not sorry.

@@Notabasket if you are recently gold , then the plats on your lobbies are most likely hardstucks. They will outfrag you , but their egos blind everything. If you ever get to diamond, you ll realise it only gets worse. The fun stops at gold , people are carefree in bronze silver. Fun comes back on high immo/radiant. Trust me , I've been through all stages.

It's honestly hard to watch this, it's exactly what I went through for like 8 months with my ex and her friends that she got from playing with me, they acted like this a lot and I just was blind to it until it got too much when they all started to gaslight and manipulate me. I can't stand people like that terrible people. super toxic people and they were all right around 20 too :/

Experiences like this are why I hate solo queueing in comp. Sometimes I pop off but there are plenty of times where I don't do so hot and people can be so rude about it, absolutely destroy my mental, and then question why I'm not getting any better as the game goes. What also sucks is that if you're not top frag and/or a content creator, you have no power to call them out and have them actually change because you have no influence in their minds. I hate that Jollz experienced this but it is kinda nice to see these problems come to light. Nowadays I usually play with a group so I don't have to deal with this stuff in comp or unrated.
After watching all Jollz’s races to radiant and being in plat/dia elo you hear a lot of players talking out of their ass, so when Jollz told the Jett who was in his ear to shut up it was so satisfying

Like when I have teammates that bully someone on the squad like that, its an instant AFK and lost RR. They then blame the AFK, not acknowledging the fact that they made them feel like shit and destroyed team mental.

If I'm playing Sage and my team is being very toxic, I'll do everything I can to make them mad even more. Like slowing their entry point, only healing myself, or reviving after the round ends. Makes them tilted and most likely do worse in their next game
I normally play Jett or Viper, but when I play Sage with my friend I get harassed so much. Dude will be missing 15HP from jumping out of A Heaven on Haven and cry for a heal. I don’t know what it is about her but it’s so discouraging…

Dude I relate on this Elo... Anyone in plat is purely toxic.. I am gold 2 and trying to play solo for the longest and every time i get 4 stack or high plat lobbies I just lose coz I make mistakes and they're just toxic and discouraging
I think adding a small section to the start and end of the videos in the "to Radiant" series where you show the rank you started at and the rank you ended at after the games would make it more fun to follow along on the journey to radiant.
Jollz, could you try to look up some basic cypher and kj setups? Your setups are next to useless half the time but your aim is carrying you through ranks anyway, which is making this feel less like sentinel to radiant and more like minimal util to radiant. Don't get me wrong, that's a crazy testament to your mechanical skill, but I feel like people could learn a lot more if you showed off what sentinel util can do when it's used to the fullest, rather than watching you click heads the same way we've seen a hundred times before.

Yeah this shit really pushes me away from valo, toxic teammates can hold you hostage for 40 mins, in overwatch the games rarely last over 15, especially if you're losing badly so it's just a "gg go next toxic teammate made everyone tilt"

Playing as a sage is a pain, i am currently plat and fill the initiator role but previously i used to play sage only and had 200+ hours on it. I went till gold before i stopped using sage cause of the sheer amount of toxicity i had to face. Everyone basically tries to order you around cause apparently they play more sage than you do and they filled the sage role and not you. If you heal yourself its basically a crime, most people are so ignorant they gonna say to wall sites like B of Haven every round even if the wall gets broken 3 seconds into the round. They expect you to rev in between a gunfight without cover.
Im Plat hardstuck and I gotta say I avoid being like these people, but sometimes the frustration just comes to me and I become toxic to teammates.
Tired of hard carrying and having teammates being toxic game after game, so eventually im just like "I give up" whenever we lose our morale

Yeah same but from his pov I can see why he wouldn't care to heal, not only was she planting in a easy to spam spot but she also used her ult so she shouldn't be the one to plant and since she committed to the plant even if jollz healed her it wouldn't really change much since by that point she's already 1 hp and the heal might come in handy for someone else, at least that's what I think went through his mind. Viper screaming "sage" and "what are you doing" after causing her own death was also uncalled for which makes sense why he mocked viper.

Regardless I think it is a lack of awareness on Jollz end to not heal the viper. Or maybe it was deliberate because he was salty about them roasting his wall.

I was playing with my friend and was in a full bronze lobby and I just couldn't with my team they all had mics but wouldn't comm anything important and would just talk to each other with these annoying things screaming at you to give them your gun and overall annoying people muted them round 5. Bronze is torture.

Not even kidding this is how 90% of people i meet are. Idk if its cause of lower elo but people are just so weirdly toxic and not toxic at the same time. It's like really discouraging to me to hop into ranked because no matter what i do or how hard i try these people will be there and make you feel so much worse. It's actually so sad. I love valorant but i swear most of these people have the brains of middle schoolers and i always have to mute them and lose comm potential.
From my personal experience, people like this tend to be successful in the moment, but lose out in their future due to their crappy attitudes.
It's weirdly nice to see this toxicity in other people's games. I'm new to the game and am getting flamed by most of my team in most games. I'm glad it's just that the community is awful and not something specifically wrong with me causing it. It feels like a vastly more toxic community than League, but that's probably just because voice comms exist here.
To be clear: I don't think the toxicity is good, these people either need to take a break/chill or be banned temporarily to force them to take a break and chill.

Ever since I stopped playing valorant i literally get no anger issues anymore. The amount of toxic players in gold-plat are just immense like istg there’s always one random ass tilting someone in the team for no reason, I’ve come to terms if i ever play i’ll only play unrated matches lol it’s a much better environment compared to comp matches.
