I have this Switchbot suit working right now at the basement. Turn off the light with the switch or on the phone really pleased me cause I always forget to Haha... Good one Lon thanks for the share
Can I use Home-bridge to do the following: link Hue Tap Dial to SwitchBot Hub 2 Infrared function (through HomeKit or other platform) and then when I rotate the hue Tap Dial, I could send IR commands (volume + and -) to my stereo system? All I want that I have a knob to send volume up and down command to my stereo system… it’s really hard for me to figure out how?
Have you had any luck linking it to HomeKit directly since this video went live? It's supposed to work given it's supposedly using Matter. If yes, do you know how the IR functionality it presented in HomeKit natively? I want to avoid using external services like HomeBridge or HomeAssistant. My goal is to control my airco with Siri.
I like that they put in a light sensor and IR. I'd be curious how accurate the temp is in the hub. Some of these types of devices run a little warm and it makes the temperature a little higher.
The sensor is actually swiss made so it is pretty accurate and it is in the loading cable and not in the device itself. The temperature Varies +- 0.2°.

I love the effect that CRT makes when powered off!
You really knew when they switched off back then! Now the TVs have to play a sound!

Hi and thx for the video. How about home assistant ? Is there a Switchbot integration to use it on HA ncluding the IR functions ?
